Re: Another question re: Magnets installed

People have also wondered about tables with metal supports - that's just something you'll need to test on your particular table. Grab some KS3 pieces - chimneys or Gables in particular are probably good test subjects - and see if the attraction through your table surface is enough to notice. Old me...

Re: Another question re: Magnets installed

They will all stick to a terrain tray regardless on polarity of the installed magnet, of course. People's concerns, as I understand it is storage - whether stacked floors or "L" nested walls will stack tidily or repel each other in a frustrating manner, and to a lesser degree, whether you can use a...

Re: Another question re: Magnets installed

Ok, someone explain to me this concept of "wrong polarity". For instance, is "right polarity" having two pieces stick to each other or repel each other?... and for further thought, just think of what that would take for either to be accomplished (you can even test with some neodymium magnets to see ...

I can imagine the increased efficiency with pre-built layouts with magnetized floors on a terrain tray!

Nice setups, Josh!
That's very true. As it were, I hot glued the pieces so the sets would stay together for the transport.

ThunderCon 2017 and The Lost Mines of Phandelver

I had a display table set up with a pile of my Dwarven Forge terrain and pieces from other miniature companies. This is my 2nd year putting out the display at ThunderCon, which itself has only been going for 3 years. I very much enjoy talking to people, seeing their amazement, and most importantly, ...

Re: Jchunick's custom-made crafting table (for his wife)

That is very nice. Thanks, lostpict! :-) Nice project, great job. The trash bin is a sweet touch. ;) There is only one drawback for me. It's so bright, I would be squinting constantly. Thanks, William! Both myself and my wife really like that feature, as well. I was originally going to build ...

Re: Dragon lock 3

Haha. I get it; poke, poke. ;-) I wish DF well so I keep some of my thoughts to myself.I will say the same for Adventurescape and Dragon lock. We have enough real counterfeiters to worry about. I may have to have some one print the tea light forge for me.In would rather have DF make one . That is a...
