Re: Marble and Jade Prototypes

They'll be safe at my home, no pets, kids or players. Just little ol' me. And you can see them anytime you need to, because I will post lots of pictures here on the forum of them. ;) That offer has some merit. Whenever I want to put out a really good dungeon, I just search for your pictures and who...

the RotA pieces are too good for my players.
My players are really good, you can send the RotA sets to me. ;)
That's a generous offer, thanks.

But while my players might not be worthy, I certainly am. So I'm going to start using the RotA sets; I'm worth it. :)

Re: 12 Step Program

Now, what the hell I'm going to do when my DOD arrives I have no idea. The sudden appearance of a third Alex unit will look... suspicious. Ha! I have three Alex units now, and am considering a fourth. I'm telling myself my wife probably wouldn't notice as the fourth would just make the stacked unit...

Re: What size gaming space do you set out for role playing games?

We have a 3'x4' elevated surface for terrain that sits on a larger table.
Every single game, I wish our actual playing surface was bigger, but people want room for their books, drinks, etc., on the larger table's overhang.

Re: Marble and Jade Prototypes

William, you'll use them a lot. For our campaigns, they signal 'old' and 'elegant' as opposed to 'old and evil' (DOE) The Least Weasel I love the Realm of the Ancients sets, but hardly ever use them. I've never considered why before, but now realize I kind of think the RotA pieces are too good for ...

Re: Vikings and Anglo-Saxons Kickstarter

I'm going to bump this one again. It's still early in the KS, but I'd really like to see it get funded. I've been wanting Viking-style ships for several years, and I like their Cog design as well. They're not modular, but they do have the curves people say they like. I also like their ruined abbey. ...

My best find from the bins was a variety of City Builder balconies.

I will be looking into this one also. Seeing how Dark Age Outpost does not seem like it will get fulfilled during my life time.
Right there with you.

Re: Vikings and Anglo-Saxons Kickstarter

I've purchased a bunch of Renaissance Miniatures items and have always been happy with them, especially their ships.
The laser-cut wood pieces aren't as detailed as sculpted, but they still look good on the table.

Re: Best Kickstarter

I would have gone Empire if I knew two things. The Grab bag minis were special (never got the two headed croc) and CBS Roofs were going to be cheaper in the store after the KS. I went Capital City with a ton of roof add-ons. It really soured me (it's on me, I know) on the next two KS's. Yep, I did ...
