Re: Clear sealer options for Walls of Force

I also sealed the pool inserts with army painter satin varnish. Used a simple paint-brush, size 4 or so, to apply it. Worked nicely.

Re: A wave 2 shipping update for Europe please!

Mine also came today.

Gorgon's Tiers and a bunch of add-ons. I just checked: there is nothing wrong! No-thing! Everything is there, nothing is broken, not even the 8x8 floor nor the lid of the elevation box is warped. Extraordinary quality! Thank you so much, DF!

Re: Harbor Town Kickstarter by Miniature Building Authority

I do not fear postage fees, either. I am only in for the minis and maybe a few boats. Shouldn't be too hard to ship. Even to Germany...

Re: painting moss

I must say, I have lots of KS3 crenellations in factory paint, always the same moss spots, and though I totally understand the fear that it could get too repetitive, I actually do not ever have that feeling in my builds. Not sure whether this is just because I have so much theater of the mind projec...

On a funny side note, I did not get ANY walls of force in my order but there were traces of glitter on some of the pieces I did get. So yes, that stuff does get everywhere.
Did you maybe get any eldritch pools? They have glitter as well. Maybe it comes from those?

Re: What add-ons in the PM have you committed to?

I did some Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish and some Frostgrave matches in my KS2 caverns. There were dark, narrow parts, huge caves, deep chasms, elevated parts. It worked great for my Skirmish. I even expect it to be better with KS6, due to all the fascinating elevation and negative spaces.

Re: Dwarven Forge's Last Kickstarter

My answer may seem a bit more boring than all the cool and fancy ideas here. But still, this is what I need: Grasslands and hills. If I have that, I can build most of my adventures somehow. Swamp, I could mock with negative space, even underwater would be mockable with caverns. But I need hills & gr...

Ok, I agree that they are better than the recent D&D minis :)

Re: Close but not quite

I'll pay $4 for real tabletop quality over $2 for dime store "bag 'o monsters" quality any day of the week. Look at the DF minis from KSVI. They look good, even if factory paint is behind that on the prototypes. I cannot agree. The DF minis have neither shadow (not even a wash) nor highlight (not e...
