Broken double pane 1/2" safety glass from a NYC bus stop. As he was walking by one day, he saw it on the ground. Went to his place, grabbed a bag and gloves, went back grabbed a bunch.

I did one of mine as rough steps. If/when I do another I will make a ramp sort of thing with irregular steps.

My .02 lupins:

Add some yellow into your basic greens for a very light highlight.

Start with olive green on the long grass, and add successive amounts of yellow to highlight

I plan on texturing some dowels the same diameter as the trunks, (but with non-standad/different lengths), and adding holes and pins. I’m not even painting the branch parts on canopies, as they’re not visible once assembled...
