Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

Well, what other businnes model exists where people pay in full for their purchase one year and a half before delivery? Where the producers have 100% of their costs paid in advance before production even begins? Where the producers know exactly what to produce and in what quantities, so the majorit...

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

For any KS I back I always factor in +6 months so mentally I try to be less disappointed when target dates are not hit. Ive backed 25ish KS'ers, and 6 months is less than the average "delayed" time. Most have been for boardgames - so art development, play testing is a big factor for delay, productio...

Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

I think DF needs KS to continue with their present "business model". I would love to see SMALLER overall KS (as has been mentioned in other threads). By virtue of the KS model pieces/encounters/add-ons are released over the course of a month ... which is more than annoying while trying to get a pict...

Re: The Dreadportal

I like these big stand-alone pieces, even more given that its Resin. Very happy they offered these and to everyone rather than just at the highest tier of pledge levels ... This piece would be great just in the center of a large room/cave or even outdoor environ (Doomwood Hollow) but in the end I pa...

Re: Thank you!

I mostly get painted, but I always get a couple things unpainted. I enjoy painting (but mostly miniatures and scatter decor) and I don't want to spend the time painting 100s of pieces. That said, some of the stuff Ive gotten unpainted - daises, mountain set, vaulted dungeon starter ... the videos ha...

Re: Rock Breaker Bill's Not-So Ancient Stepwell

Thanks for sharing all the "Progress" pictures. Im stealing so many of these ideas. The ramps as "lintels" above the columns, the Dias pieces inverted on one another ( I may not even have enough daises ..). I really like the ramp ways sandwiched between the opposing sets of stairs. I just ordered a ...

Re: Basic tips for participating in the Pre-sale

Ah gotcha! Thanks for the clarification Rhizom. My mind is always in "Board game Kickstarter" Mode! There shipping is usually "leaving China".

When are these expected to be delivered?
April 2020.

EDIT : April 2020 is the target "ship" date ... so tack on another 2 months I suppose? Across sea travel, getting to warehouse, then shipping off to backers. Probably 2 months more easily, so at door (if all goes well :? ) in June-ish 2020.
