Does Dungeon of Doom level have everything?

I don't know why I am even thinking about this, but does the Dungeon of Doom level have everything? You might still want add-ons so you can create certain builds, but in general, I think you have most everything. With Dungeon of Doom you would have everything except: 1- Water/Stone terrain tile 2- M...

Re: DF Kickstarter Daily Numbers Comparison

No bets on where the S-Curve will end? I say 2,700 people for $2.7M. (No one is allowed to use software or you are cheating.) EDIT: Shoot, I just read AnimeSensei comment. I have changed my number to make them different than AnimeSensei. I think there are a bunch of people like me that are pleading ...

Re: KS5 - Magnets in bases

Will the "passage walls" work with a piece that has a magnet in the base? The metal tab goes under the tile but I don't know if it reached the middle of the tile and the magnets location. It could have one of three effects (I think): 1- The metal of the passage wall tab sticks to the magne...

Limited Edition and Stretch Goal Items

I am one, of many, who can not buy all I want. It may not be perfect, but I am giving greater weight towards items I can only get in the Kickstarter as Limited Edition or as Stretch goals because it may only be available through Kickstarter. Buying painted only since I still have KS1 things unpainte...

Re: Setup DF mixed with a new Manorhouse product

It is a beautiful product, but I think Dwarven Forge City Builder is more versatile. Both products seem to work off of a 4"x4" base. Manorhouse only seems to allow walls on two of the exterior edges, whereas City Builder has four walls possible. I don't think you can make 90 degree walls w...

Re: Modular Castle System with Game Tiles: Pre Cut Styrene Sheets

Thanks for the Mini-Dungeon link. That was the link I was looking for, and could not find. 1mm seems thin though. I just looked up cut-to-order 12 gauge (2mm) sheet metal and with shipping it would cost about $9.23 for each 4" by 4". This would match my Dungeon Works thicknness. I will ass...

Re: Modular Castle System with Game Tiles: Pre Cut Styrene Sheets

I like the idea but I think metal might be better. I have not figured out the correct gauge to be strong enough. The reasons I prefer metal are: 1- The metal is thinner so it does not distract from the structure. (The big black line between levels.) 2- Dwarvenite game tiles have a recessed bottom. I...

Re: TO BUILD THE CITY: A Grand Strategy

Lord Dust and others have commented they use many other sources for buildings - MBA, 4Ground etc. ... BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): See end for details. DwF is a still a good buy, [but]..... This analysis is entirely cost driven and does not take into account playing style (say RPG vs wargaming), mo...

Mystery Mini Grab Bag Speculation

I think the kick starter will have minis that are not sold as add-ons but will be randomly added to the order as grab bag. Based on pictures we have seen; I speculate the following miniatures: 1- Man with wheelbarrow 2- Man with basket of fruit on shoulder EDIT: 3- Man with red hat, satchel and stick.
