Re: KS3 Sketchup Files
That looks really nice Forestz.I assume that's all the stretch goals given you've got the balconies on there. It appears if you want a roof on everything at Village level you'll need both roof expansion packs. Also, anyone know the point of the 2"x4" roof pieces? You can't build a 2"...

Re: KS3 Sketchup Files
Here is a simple street scene I constructed using: Village, Slate Roof, Stone Streets, Wicked Streets, Alleys (1 of each):

Here's a better image. The black circles represent miniatures.

Re: 2x2 City building tiles to match the 4x4 floors.
Since I made this, I might as well share it. This will be my solution if I mix old style and new style grids. Whichever one dominates becomes the primary grid, and you switch to the intersections on whichever ones are fewer. Basically, if your KS3 tiles dominate, use those squares. When a figure tra...

Re: KS3 Sketchup Files
Thanks for the welcome, Kitenerd! I'm glad some people are finding these useful. I feel like this particular KS is difficult because of its scope. If it was just buildings, great! If it was just sewers, awesome! If it was just streets, gimme some of them! But we all want it *all* and for most of us ...

Re: KS3 Sketchup Files
You know, I'm actually very pleasantly surprised at how much I can build with just Village + 1 Roof addon. This is Village + 1 Slate addon. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z253/fukifino/Screen%20Shot%202015-03-16%20at%203.27.39%20PM.png That's actually quite a lot of buildings, and I still had a ...

Re: Balconies and Cantilevered Possibilities
The awesome thing about this system is that, even if Stefan doesn't have time to do it, other companies could, or you could sculpt and cast your own inserts! The very modularity of it all is it's strength.
(Also, these are all excellent ideas. So many possibilities!)

Re: 2x2 City building tiles to match the 4x4 floors.
http://www.dwarvenforge.com/wp-content/gallery/ksiii/IMG_0139a.jpg This was linked earlier, but I'm going to put it here again since it so perfectly illustrates the point of the problem when using old style and building style grids. That being said, here's something to consider. With old style grid...

Re: 2x2 City building tiles to match the 4x4 floors.
Forest - 1/2x4 is a boodnoggle - because now your overall square is 5" so nothing lines up on the outside - instead of helping us align we have simply shifted the problem - plus if you do that to two adjacent sides you have a 1/2 x 1/2 hole at the corner Yeah, I said it's not ideal. ;) If they...
