Re: Game builds

Very clean playable design depicting what seems like a vintage OSR map! Plenty of room for adventure. Thanks for showing how well the tabs can be used, Dolken!

If that is one of your "smaller" builds, your larger builds might be bigger than the bedrooms in my HK home...

Re: Swamp Adventure

The raised walkways are fantastic!

Nice mix of pieces makes it feel like a real world location, not a "set build".

Re: Hero Quest-like Use...and some childhood nostalgia

So, my humble fantasy beginnings originate from Hero Quest as I am very much an eighties baby. I'm assuming I am not the only one on this forum whose fantasy adventures began with those iconic commercials and marvelous plastic minis. After many years of gaming neglect i returned about 5 years ago. ...

Re: LED Light Panels Discussion

@Cody N - not sure what your point is. You want certain things. Others want other things, Everyone has their own best solution. More power to you in getting your perfect system, whatever that is! In response to Talistran's post, All I was saying is that some of us are happy with the DF light panels ...

Re: LED Light Panels Discussion

@CodyN Sure -

I get what you are saying, but I am never going to need to change light color on the fly. I don't need all the bells and whistles.

DF's offering is no muss, no fuss for DF KS buyers, and that is what some people (like me) want.

Re: Myrmidon SG

I'd drop some decent cash on a minis-only KS. That's is own budget apart from DF =) I've regretted none of the minis from DF. I come here for the terrain, but the uniqueness of the miniatures makes a splash every time I pull them out. I wouldn't mind a little more attention on minis and away from h...

Re: LED Light Panels Discussion

I am with you though, in that I am not planning on buying the light panels. I am 100% confident that DF is going to produce something better than makes these obsolete, so why spend money now. There is a risk that too many people think this way, so DF decides to not make anymore in the future as the...

Re: Battle systems fantasy terrain kickstarter

Thanks for the heads up. There are some very interesting pieces here. I don't think I could spring for one of the main sets (esp. with shipping) but the graveyard looks enticing. The 5 pound cost for an add-n pledge is a bit offputting though, particularly when the only add-on set you want is 12 pou...

Re: KS8 theme - Hear Me Out

I may change my mind once they deliver or I see it, however, for the amount of money that they wanted for a modular boat, I could purchase a bunch of different boats in the same sizes that I can make with the their modular one. Detail is probably much nicer on the DF one, but I'm also a bit worried...
