Re: Eldritch Pools - Large Curve Half Floors

Thanks for the update geekjeff, I appreciate you keeping us posted. Any chance you could give us an estimated price range on the Completionist Pack? Even a "less than $x" would be helpful :)

Re: Eldritch Pools - Large Curve Half Floors

The diagonal half floors will work (sort of), but they won't sit flush against the wall, and there will be a gap on either end. It would be nice to get a few more photos of the large curved wall and how it interacts with other pieces. I would also be very interested in this. I think they said they m...

Re: Eldritch Pools - Large Curve Half Floors

Thanks for bringing this to my attentions. The Eldritch Pools is the ONLY encounter that I was planning on acquiring... Now I might have to reconsider and just do add-ons. :/ I think a lot of people (myself included) assumed that the curved half floor that was included as a stretch goal was for the...

Eldritch Pools - Large Curve Half Floors

I was going to wait until the pledge manager was out before making this post but I wanted to put it up for discussion as I suspect others may want to comment. Eldritch Pools contains two large curved walls but no half floors to go with them. This is an issue since it basically restricts the pieces t...

Re: Doomroller and Sister, (and exclusivity, force walls, and capstone logic)

Producing each piece as many times as possible may not actually make financial sense. Ideally, DF should produce enough of each piece such that the marginal revenue of each piece is equal. For some pieces, this may mean producing "as many as possible", for other pieces where demand is lowe...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?

One of the things I found most helpful was the image of three different layouts that could be built using Dungeon Level II. Being new to DF, I found it was hard to visualize how many of the basic tiles I needed to give myself the flexibility I was after. Modularity is one of the main selling points ...

Re: Which encounters offer the best "value"?

Thanks biowizard! By the way, I've been eyeing your gelatinous cubes. Very nice work! I hadn't noticed that you're also in Canada - might have to place an order with you at some point :)

Re: Which encounters offer the best "value"?

Value is somewhat subjective, but as a newb with a modest budget, my idea of a high value set is one that includes a lot of basic building pieces. Of course, value wise, the best way to get the basic pieces is to buy the remastered core pack, followed by the starter pack and the individual floor/wal...
