for all the tape measure vs grid debate you want to have it comes down to what you are used to for my gaming i love the grid - for all its limitations (and there are many) it is just faster and simpler to count squares - reach, area of effect, cover - all of these are codified and straight forward ...

Most of the most companies I listed will do hex or square grids. I don’t think Cigar Box will do it on the plush, the lines would be too blurred because of the plush. Working without a grid is easy though, just use a tape measure. Peace That's the thing I don't want us to be forced to use a measure...
