OK, the dwarf is Dain Deepaxe from Reapers Dark Heaven line! It looks like he has a new sculpt, but this is his original sculpt.

And based on that I think the other dwarf is Reapers Nord Kegbreaker, Dwarf Priest.

Re: What Are These?
I thought those two dwarves in the first pic might be Grenadier also, but looking online at images, the bases don't look the same. I know I've seen miniatures with those style of bases before (I may even have some in my collection), and that dwarf and the elf behind him look awfully familiar (I thou...

Re: D&Diesel
The funny thing is that Vin's actually horrible at roleplaying (in this clip), which is amusing given that he's an actor. That DM though is off the charts. I would love to be in his campaign. That said (about Vin), you absolutely can't deny his pure geek joy at rolling a critical. Regardless of how...

Wow, I had never seen those, William. Those are awesome concepts! It makes me want to hack up my very limited supply of elevation blocks to see how that would work, lol.

Re: 3D Printed tiles by Fat Dragon Games
Part of me really wishes I had a 3d Printer for this. But then I remember how slow I am at casting HA blocks, and what I know of how slow 3d Printers print and realize that even as lazy as I am at building HA stuff, I could still probably complete a dungeon faster that way. ;) Still, I think it's aw...

Re: KS ripping off as much as they can from DF.
Just google Lamothe Mildort (I am so naming my next character that). First hit is probably about the fraud, a bit down is a linked in profile listing rugged caverns. Some people looked up the owner of both the rugged caverns website and the website for some metal dice Kickstarter and he was the own...

Re: KS ripping off as much as they can from DF.
It turns out that if it wasn't a scam, it was doomed anyways. Some intrepid investigators on Facebook discovered the person behind the KS was also behind a previous KS that funded but failed to fully deliver, and was also charged with running a Ponzi scheme about a decade ago. Wait. What?? :o Could...

Re: KS ripping off as much as they can from DF.
Now I feel that is is entirely my fault they did not fund *sniff* :( :( :( Seriously, they seem to have something going for them, if they focus on it and seem legit I would go for it. I definitely look at DF's competitors. Seriously, doesn't everyone on this board? Maybe now the vast bulk of compet...

Re: KS ripping off as much as they can from DF.
It does appear to be precisely the same item. This definitely concerns me further. It's not the same item. You can see lots of differences (the missing shape in the door arch is the first thing, but you can tell proportions are off too). It's obvious that they sculpted a new one based completely on...
