Re: What fresh hell are you getting?
Truly hellish time figuring this out. I actually stuck to my budget this time - first time since KS1. I did something similar to GardenDM's setup with alleys today, and found out I actually needed less than I thought. All painted: Build Your Own Hell The Volcano Magma River Pack x2 Magma River Featu...

Re: Eldorado Fortress
Amazing builds. I look at everything from a GM's perspective and I have to say, all the iterations of the structure make for an excellent site-based encounter. I see multiple stages of combat, starting with ship-to-fort combat then moving to the invasion stage. Then there are several ways to tackle ...

Re: Framing a Platform with Erinthor
Thanks... sorry, I should probably scale them down before linking. I just post the original file on the site I host from, so maybe they're too big. Does anyone have a good guideline for what size file is best for most browsers? I like posting big so you can "view image" and pan around a bit.

Framing a Platform with Erinthor
I tend to stage a lot of fights around cavern and dungeon entrances. No idea why, just seems right. I find it's difficult to "frame" some of these fights with a proper backdrop. The Erinthor set has served me well in this regard for many front door fights, but I have to show some restraint...

The One Thing?
What was your favorite part of kickstarters past? I said the resin Hellscape gate. I almost said the piece catalogue from Hellscape KS - that would be a close second.

Re: Thoughts about tiered layouts with KS6
The rising elevation pieces can be used to get that gradual rise to a higher level. The floor area on them isn't level, it is "stepped", and they could sit next to the "stepped elevation block" which is essentially the next piece to higher elevation, then finally beyond that the...

Re: Thoughts about tiered layouts with KS6
Or lots of Japanese foam blocks. I bought one elevation stilt pack just to play around with, but I expect to just use foam for elevation as always. Can anyone explain the rising elevation walls to me? The walls go from short to tall, but the floor seems to be level. Not sure where these would be use...

Re: The Path to El Dorado
I have some of the Egyptian ones, and I`m very happy with them. The quality and level of detail on my sets were very good. As a DF collector, they have the 2 main features that I look for: 1) They are a similar scale and compatible to mix with DF 2) They cover a cool theme not already covered by DF...
