Re: Finding Crablily...

Well, whatever you think of the sculpt, it sure was named well. Hate to see that thing scurrying after me. All we need now are some Triffids.

Re: Question about textured 2D surfaces

So going forward, ALL water based TTs will use this? Because I’m worried about how shiny some of the terrain trays looked in the demo videos. What might work for ocean/lake/rivers I don’t think look as nice for swamps or underground water. Gridgate at the moment is stopping me from getting surface t...

Re: Advice on new megapacks

I'll snap up any extra sorrow-nests you have ! Got a feeling there's gonna be a lot of wheeling and dealing on all these different plants/trees when this stuff delivers next year.

Re: Running Total from All DF KS by day KS7 added

And from chatting with GeekJeff on the KS comments, we also have a mountain floor with circular cutout(seems to fit the puck perfectly) to come as well. Although my personal guess is that beaked thing hatches =p

Re: Running Total from All DF KS by day KS7 added

We are waiting for what, 3 prominent pieces left to show up on SG chart ? Crablily, Oblivion Nexus, and something that hatches ? Wonder what else is up their sleeves if we unlock those. And I wonder if unlock is the right term for at least one of those, since Untamed buyers have been promised a 'sur...

Re: Surprise Finds

You can see that mountain cut-out floor at 3:35 in the Light Puck video on youtube. No idea where that slots in this KS.

Re: Restock

Just went back to listen to the stream where I asked about the composition. Realarete had it pretty much, except the large tree is the gnarled with a stump bottom, no trunks on that one. Small stump patch with 1 trunk and 1 topper (small tree) Large stump patch with gnarled tree Large and small stum...

Re: Flora Mega vs Seperate packs

I'm in the same general neighborhood when trying to juggle what packs to get. I'm going to be under 500$ most likely and will be mostly swamp stuff and dressing/minis. I have no mountain or forest stuff at all and the price to get acceptable coverage in those biomes is out of my budget. I'm looking ...

Re: Finding Crablily...

I'll have to see if Nate can show one off in a buildstream. Do the 2 hinged parts even intermesh like a venus flytrap ? Or do they just sorta touch each other like the graphic. Dunno, just not digging this one. It might just be that I'm salty that my beloved sorrow-nest is paired with it and I may h...

Re: KS8 (or 9) - Cities expansion - what would you do?

Negative space roads don't look natural to me. As an improvisation without other alternatives, fine. But unless you are in a city that has underground drainage, roads are always ---above-- the surrounding terrain for drainage. Otherwise they'd be mudpits after every rain.
