I agree strongly with the OP.
The level of sculpting skill in the KS1 tiles (example the backs of the wall pieces) is very low in comparison to the master maze sets. A super paint job can help, but you can\'t make chicken salad out of chicken feathers.

Felt underneath tiles
Has anyone tried putting some self adhesive felt tape, say 1/32, on the bottom of their pieces? I\'d like to do something to encourage them to stay in place better
