The other benefit of showing only a couple stretch goals at a time is you can adjust the stretch goal gaps accordingly.

There is no reason DF could not extend stretch goals into the pledge manager. Many other KS have done it. That would be a win, win for everyone. It also encourages people to pledge even more during the pledge manager.
