Re: Kickstarter: Dunkeldorf - 28mm Fantasy RPG Townsfolk Miniatures
I -LIKE- being able to just throw my minis in a box like I can do with dwarvenite. That's what I mean. Fair enough. While I'm sure opinions will vary on how many are enough for this, I sort mine into categories so I can find what I'm looking for. I have too many to not organize them, if I didn't do...

Re: Kickstarter: Dunkeldorf - 28mm Fantasy RPG Townsfolk Miniatures
I hate storing fragile gaming items. I don't like metal minis, flock, plaster, or thin resin. I want to be able to use my stuff, not worry about it being damaged every time I touch it. I don't mind some of my stuff being somewhat fragile, I just don't want the bulk of it to be. I have a few very sm...

Re: If you had to pick. Are you mainly a city&castle or a dungeon&cavern user
Dungeons are closed ended - when players are in - they have limited options of where to go Cities are vast - players go from the waterfront, to the slums, to the market, to the nobles district - no WAY i can set up that much Its easier than you might think. 1-Set up SMALL waterfront, slum, market, ...

Re: If you had to pick. Are you mainly a city&castle or a dungeon&cavern user
I have had an entire campaign that never left Waterdeep in the Realms. I did pick dungeons/caverns for the poll though, most campaigns the adventuring more heavily features those environs. I personally really like being able to set up towns and cities to adventure in as well though. They offer their...

Re: Plants
Plants from Hobby Lobby so that I can pretend I am on topic ;) I had not considered using full size light bulb size LEDs. I can't speak for everyone else, but I have used them as mood lighting. I also even have a moon that can be placed on a stand at the end of the table over a scene, whose appeara...

Re: Tenfold dungeon kickstart
There was a company that made some interesting printable terrain that folds flat and can then be returned to shape by pulling up on one part. It had a slightly surreal style to it. I thought it would be fantastic to use for the ethereal or astral planes or something similar. I need to dig their name...

Re: Plants
Working. Working hard to kill two cases this week. Two out my three busy cases. Which will get me 50% of the way to retiring. Which I want to do soon rather than at the end of this year. William, was it you that mentioned LED light bulbs one could plug into regular sockets but whose color could be ...

Re: Tenfold dungeon kickstart
Next they can come out with the hat box series with round rooms from 24" down to 8". (Actually not a bad idea.) In all seriousness, just so you know my positive comments about this are not from me in this universe where DF exists for me, nor bound to this particular KS. I was talking abou...

Re: Tenfold dungeon kickstart
I can see several positive points to cardstock or paper terrain, but I won't ever spend that much on it, especially when I can buy a set of ink cartridges and two packs of card stock for less. Yeah, I'd have to assemble it, but that takes less time than painting one mini.
