Okay, I just pulled the trigger on the windmill and well. These are going to be fun to paint.

Re: Ceramic stackable painting pots Stefan uses
@Kryzsko - Ah, yes, I should have gone back to view the video rather than work from memory. Those do appear to be the palettes that Stefan is using. My apologies. This is the style that I was trying to describe: http://www.rexart.com/product1164.html The Dick Blick style is nice because the concave ...

Re: Free Worldwide Shipping at Tabletop World until 4/23
@Magniopi - I know exactly how you feel. @King_Stannis - That's an impressive piece. You're right about the price. The Euro exchange rate is pretty good right now (for the USA) and free shipping is a pretty big deal for stuff from Europe. I've dealt with them in the past and it was a very smooth, ea...

Re: Ceramic stackable painting pots Stefan uses
Kryzsko - Those ones from Dick Blick have really shallow wells and don't really stack very well. I don't care for them but your mileage may vary. My wife likes them for ink but usually uses them upside down. I can't find the ones that I like online. My set is old and was actually a mismatch of a few...

Re: Free Worldwide Shipping at Tabletop World until 4/23
I don't have any of their buildings but I do have some of their other bits. I have some of their accessories (furniture and supplies) but haven't put paint to them yet. They are wonderful pieces, very detailed and not big or chunky. I just placed an order for the food stuffs, the dead tree, and the ...

Re: Ceramic stackable painting pots Stefan uses
Quick follow up - the ceramic daisy-style palettes typically found in the Sumi section of an art store are also very highly recommended. They have a very good weight to them and are easy to clean.

Re: Ceramic stackable painting pots Stefan uses
I've been using porcelain palettes for years when not using a wet palette. They don't bounce around on my work surface like plastic or tin ones. The added weight ensures they stay put with all but the worst bump. I've had plastic palettes skitter away from the slightest touch leaving a mess of paint...

Re: KS4 Peer Pledge Review
@Nikdo A couple of possible changes, hope this helps You might want to consider buying a Gatehouse (Base Pledge) for $65 and a straight wall pack for $56 instead of the Ramparts (Base Pledge). It will save you $54 at the cost of one set of stretch goals. I also noticed you have a Large Round Crenel...

[Kickstarter] Dungeon Explorers
Okay, if you're a child of the 80's like me and started playing D&D as a wee lad in the early 80's, you probably loved the D&D cartoon as much as I did. Andy Taylor of Antediluvian miniatures is running a Kickstarter that answers the question, "What would the crew look like now, 30 year...
