Re: Likes and dislikes
Artists, gamers, collectors... we are all passionate about what we do. Thank you Stefan for your heartfelt remarks. It was your vision that got this all started and, so many years along, the flame is still burning. And thank you AnimeSensei for your apology. We're all friends here, or should be. We'...

Re: Gen Con Game sign up!
Really looking forward to this event! We've got a lot of great stuff planned. This'll be my first time at GenCon with Dwarven Forge and I'm looking forward to meeting any Forum members who stop by the booth! I'll probably be running a few of the games, as will Stefan (of course) and some of our othe...

Re: Caernarfon Castle
Caernarfon is an awesome castle. I've been there several times, most recently this past April. One of the nice castles in Britain IMO. Apparently the angled towers and some of the other details were based on castle designs from the Middle East that the English rulers had been exposed to during the C...

Re: Pre-KS6 Miniature Agitation Thread. I'm Not Kidding.
I'm with Kryzsko on the Bones minis. I too have a bunch (the vast majority, I'll admit) that are still unpainted, but I like having them as a pool to draw from depending on what I anticipate needing next for upcoming adventures. There are some from the initial base set that don't do much for me, tha...

Re: Stuff we saw, but never got
The giant baboon-gargoyle with the LED eyes was one of my sculpts. (Glad y'all like it!) It's part of the KS4 LED set that also includes the wizard's spire, claw braziers, and Valorian star spire. And he's in the KS4 roofs mega pack as well. Incidentally, the LED chest did get resculpted; I did a ne...

Re: Help! Need Advice About Painting My Castles
One thing to consider is how much time you want to put into painting this castle (and any future compatible pieces). To me this does look a little garish. But I think you could fix it would a couple layers of drybrush, the "standard" Df scheme of first Olive Dry Brush (fairly heavy) and th...

@ChicagoBart,
Once you've pledged for any level of the base set dungeon (including level 1) you can add add-ons (such as other encounters out of numerical order) as you like without incurring the $10 fee.

Re: Populating the City
Hey jgt4242, thanks for adding your pics! Always nice to see how others tackle color schemes, etc. I like your color schemes especially on the barmaid and the dude with the torch. I still have a couple of the folks you've shown to do. I rather like that "Oswald the Overladen" carrying all ...

Re: Invincibleoverlord's Photo Sets
Wow, this is indeed an amazing resource. Thanks so much for taking the time to find & repost these. (And thank you, Invincible Overlord, wherever you are, for all this creativity.) Does anyone know what became of him? Still alive and well I hope? This here thread is a great example of how & ...
