Re: Gen Con 2019

Hey Everyone, I'll be posting Gen Con news here as we have it. Booth Games: We have been having some delays getting these approved by Gen Con. We will update you as soon as registration for those opens. We will have some forum exclusive games, and I will post a survey on here for those like last ye...

Re: Dungeon builds looking too "clean"

A very cheap and easy dungeon dressing is to sprinkle in some rubble. I got this idea from a post on Hirst Arts. Basically the guy took coffee grounds and glued little long piles along the walls. It looked like dirt and crumbled stone. A very light drybrush of Pokorny gray over the tops would help ...

Re: Water features (based on what we've seen on KS6.66)

I'm interested in tiles. Negative space still hasn't really grabbed me. That isn't to say I don't or won't use it, but outside of the ledge type tiles I don't need products for it. I'll use terrain trays for floor type patterns since they are useful in elevations. I might use some for ice, but I lik...

Re: Dwarven Forge Branding

I would love pins and patches. I have a bag that has the soft side of velcro (the loop) and then I have patches with the hooks on the back. I would happily add a DF patch or two to the rotation. I have paid twelve bucks for a single official patch for one of my favorite bands, I would easily pay ten...

Re: Whats on your ToDo list?

Then you show more willpower than I do, I keep buying sets of the things! Congratulations on your little one, daughters are a blessing and worth every moment of your time. My oldest just graduated college. Perhaps I can take advantage of her current free time and teach her to paint minis before her...

Re: Mixed messages from DF?

Why not a few terrain trays with translucence instead of metal? They work with light boxes and for negative space. If folks push it may show up later.

Re: Clear Dwarvenite?

I've been advocating a clear set for caverns and rivers. It doesn't seem to have gotten any attention from the powers that be and there didn't seem to be much community support.

Re: can't afford these anymore.

I'd love to get into this one for a wee bit, but our original summer care solution for my eight year old didn't work out and I'm dropping nearly as much as my mortgage for summer care. So all my hobby spending is on hold until pretty much Gen Con.

Re: Whats on your ToDo list?

(remember self, stop buying unpainted minis!) Oh sure, that’ll happen  I’ve been saying that for years! My to do list priority project is to finally paint all of my KS1. (I pledged for five sets and all the add ons). I have barely anything painted so I want to paint it to match up to my Dunge...

Re: Greetings from the Forge: Part 4 The Greetening ⚔

I'd be happy to sit down and play a round, I'm relatively open as I have few events scheduled so far.
