Re:Upcoming Zealot Miniatures Twisting Catacombs KS

<t>I'm having a hard time deciding how deep I want to go into backing this. I really like a lot of the pieces and the guy running it seems like a good guy but I'm afraid the pieces will end up being too bulky or massive for my tastes. I think I might go in a little on the light side with the KS to m...

Re:Roofs?

<t>I'm an RPG'er at heart but I also love miniatures games. The holy grail for me is to use my DF collection for miniature skirmish gaming as well as RPGs. Having a nice, finished off table adds a lot of value to my DF collection. Easy to use (maybe one-piece?) roofs that can be used to turn my DF i...

Re:Plain VS Detailed, Historical VS Cool

<t>Good points, LadySabelle. As we're seeing, different people have different preferences when it comes to the fantasy/realism scale but you are absolutely correct. If the piece works and if it's cool, people will like it and a buy it.<br/> <br/> BTW, if you haven't checked it out yet, Joseph Browni...

Re:Plain VS Detailed, Historical VS Cool

<t>I don't want to derail this thread but I'll put in a vote for a plain sign that can be painted on. The reason is thus:<br/> <br/> 1) I can make the sign display whatever I want.<br/> <br/> 2) I know we're talking about a fantasy setting but even in a world full of goblins and trolls and magic, mo...

Re:Stefan just spilled some serious beans!

<t>I was pretty heavy on KS1 and I don't regret it at all (though my wife wasn't happy when it all showed up). I only got 2 sets of caverns during KS2 and a number of add-ons (mostly dungeon passages and lizardmen). At the time, I wanted some caverns but I really wanted the dungeon passages. I now k...

Re:Red Box Games Heroic Fantasy Miniatures

<t>I'm a huge fan of the Red Box Games line and I've been collecting his figures for years. He sculpts in "true scale" rather than heroic scale so sometimes his figures look small compared to other lines. The biggest scale gap is between RBGs and Reaper. However, that being said, the internal consis...

Re:Stefan just spilled some serious beans!

Yes, ruins. I definitely want ruins.

I'd also like a ramp of some type to transition to/from other levels for multi-level set-ups. A "finished" KS1 style ramp and a KS2 style "natural" ramp would be awesome.

Re:Zealot Minitatures KS

Good to know. Thanks. Looks like there might be a lot to choose from considering this is only the first day and my wishlist is already out of my budget for the KS. The problem is the same I had with Griffin Tamer -- so much cool stuff but limited cash to spend on the KS.

Re:Zealot Minitatures KS

<t>JenneyOC - Thanks for helping break that down for me. I'm having the same problem figuring out exactly what I want. Keep in mind that the £18 shipping to the US will likely be more like £11.50 when he adjusts for region (he had to add the highest shipping cost because of the way KS is set up). He...

Oh, my. This is definitely something to keep an eye on. Those lava pieces are awesome.
