I've backed a few of his now and ordered from his webstore a dozen times or so and I love his sculpts. Fulfillment always leaves me thinking like he may not make it. Especially with his latest Kickstarter.

Yes, as I've said a few times now, hand painted is unquestionably better than factory. Not that the factory is bad, and it's probably a good choice if you're not in to painting. But I have a few painted factory pieces and a bunch of hand painted, and the hand painted looks much better than factory.

Yeah, I hear ya. I had to make the same decision. For me it was either all in on DFKS4 or Conan, and ultimately I decided on Conan having backed the previous 3 DF kickstarters, two of them heavily.

Looks like $12 of junk I'd never buy wrapped in a $35 package. Should have had a short 1-shot adventure in there. DrivethruRPG discount, or dmsguild discount. Another mini or two or at least another sprue or two. A preview of upcoming DF KS4 etc.

I signed up or this, but I think it would probably have been money better spent on Powerball tickets. I have yet to think - or met anyone who thinks - that any of these subscription boxes are actually worth even half their cost. Mostly they suffer from trying to cater to too many different interests...

I like the lava a lot! Mine looked like crap. Haven't tried a repaint yet. How many different colors did you use?
