Re: Black Marble paint tutorial
Thank you Lady Sabelle! This is exactly what I need. I will test out this and a few other colors on my small pillars soon. (Family is visiting this weekend so no paint for a little while)

Re: Experimenting with other marble colors
Thanks for the comments everyone. Lady S those pics are inspiring! I think I might try for lots and lots of layers. Intrigued about the polish. There is some clear nail polish sitting around here somewhere. I know what you mean about the depth. Our 1.5 year-new granite counters are mostly white and ...

Experimenting with other marble colors
While I wait for my unpainted emperors palace to arrive I decided to sacrifice a few ks1 floors and try out a few alternative marble ideas. My original ks1 columns ended up being painted green and purple so that’s what I tried here other than black and white. I used slightly different techniques on ...

Re: Pre-shipment Notification
Blast! Preshipping note for my third shipment came one week ago. Shipping note came last night. Came home today to a note from UPS. They will try again tomorrow. I guess this box needs a signature where the first did not. I’m a little too on edge waiting for it all. I already painted what came in th...

Re: KS7 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion
I am all for a little bit of wood walls and thatch roof, but what are people imagining for dirt roads/ paths? I think I would rather see this as a terrain tray than dirt road tiles. If we end up getting Forrest and grassy banks, those could look nice framing a dirty tray. You could vary the width of...

Re: KS7 The unexpected other environment
Since this is all pie in the sky- Someone on one of the livestreams asked: when are we traveling the planes? Of course a lot of the terrain could already work for some locations. Dreadhollow basically is Feywild. Underdoom sure seems to be on another plane. The resin has that hellscape looking envir...

Re: Favourite Cavern Tile Add-ons
While my gut reaction is the natural bridge set (really looking forward to playing with these), I think the passage transitions are going to be so useful to quickly and easily throw down a small encounter area. I can see them being pulled out the most out of sheer laziness.

Re: Seeking mid-budget new buyer advice
I do recommend picking up and trying to paint some of the KS2 caverns. If you need to pick up paints anyway, consider the pokorney paints from the store as well. You could get away with just “cardboard” and “cavern dry brush” colors. I did a crappy job on my dungeon tiles with craft paint because I ...

Re: KS7 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion
This is DF we’re talking about. I think they would be a little classier than “Moar Skullz!” If there are skulls I imagine they’d be removable “bling” and not baked in. Like Skullfeast. I do really like the idea of a variety of architectural styles. It’s probably a stretch but I’d love to see DF’s ta...

Re: KS7 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion
How about instead, forces of SuperNature. Um, supernaturalness? Every suggestion makes me want to put the word "haunted" in front of it. Haunted swamp Haunted Forrest with spooky dead trees (and some with fall foliage of course) Haunted shacks/barns/stables with rickety wood walls Maybe so...
