Re: Which pieces are Dwarvenite-G?

When I think of LEGO, I think of lightweight hard plastic. Dwarvenite makes me think of heavy flexible plastic. If these pieces are intermingled, I want to imagine what they will feel like to manipulate. Also the weight of a 4x4 in both materials would be nice for comparison. Durability doesn't real...

Which pieces are Dwarvenite-G?

I think it is very important to label which pieces in the KS are the new Dwarvenite-G and which are the regular Dwarvenite. It sounds like the new type allows for larger pieces, which means it is more rigid. It will certainly "feel" different than the stuff we currently have. There is some...

Re: Wall Spacer (Only) Pack

Yeah I mean a separate pack of the 1x4x2 wall spacers with metal in them. These would allow for much more modularity in designs. If used next to some KS1 pieces in certain places, this would provide a simple magnetic wall for those KS3 decor items (plus whatever future magnetic accessories DF or oth...

Wall Spacer (Only) Pack

Can we please see a pack for only wall spacers? Either 8 or 12 or 16 in a box. The wall platforms are nice, but not necessary for many kinds of builds. As someone who wants to build some simple walls with KS3 crenelations I would be happy to get some solid walls plus wall spacers. This would be the ...

Re: Is anyone considering a non-fully-enclosed castle?

I'm afraid we have reached a point where DF cannot afford to show more and backers won't pledge more based on what is shown... Damn inertia... To me, the SGs are (due to their limited nature) a non factor. Kinda different for this KS. I understand why, but it removed them as a contributing factor f...

Re: The Big Post on Scale Compatibility

A point to consider, Jonathan very specifically said that he confirmed what we had been saying from DF, especially Elye, who had put it quite succinctly. By the time this beast of an issue was recognized as a Hydra everyone at DF was heading to SXSW and at that point everyone was looking to Stefan ...

Re: The Big Post on Scale Compatibility

Thank you for taking the time to measure all of these out. I admit that I initially only checked the KS1 floor tiles against KS3, which clearly has the largest discrepancy. I was surprised with the KS1 wall measurements, so I laid out 8 and then 12 against the KS1 floor tiles. I had about a 4mm diff...

Re: 8x8 tile request

They really should have pictures showing the underside posts feature on the main Kickstarter page. I would never have guessed that fact. And not everyone reads lots of comments or these boards.

Re: Scale

To me the scale of DF is that of one square being equal to 5' for gaming purposes. So a 2x2 tile (two squares wide) is 10' x 10' in my gaming scale. KS1 and KS2 and basically resin lines: 2x2 = 50mm width thus 10' = 50mm KS3 and KS4: 2x2 = 2 inches (50.8mm) width thus 10' = 50.8mm Those are two diff...

Re: Castle tiles floor and elevation fit with KS1

@Null I just checked my narrow passages from KS2 and they are basically 50mm wide. Lined up next to my KS1 floor tiles, four in a row are about 1mm wider than the floor tiles (basically imperceptible), so way way closer than CBS pieces. Four KS1 tiles are about 1/4 inch shorter when laid in a row co...
