Re: KS3 paint test run
Very nice!!! I love the various sewer piece usage throughout... using the convex corners as decoration (a pedestal for a statue?) is very creative. The dwarven pillar usage on the back side of the gate is genius! I kinda thought you would probably end up altering the roof color slightly... just to s...

Re: TEASER!
My guess is that there will be lots of various pledge levels... I am expecting something like this: Tower pledge level (choice of round or square), The Two Towers pledge level (one of each - or maybe a choice), Gate House and Two Towers pledge level. Fortification pledge level (to include walls with...

Re: TEASER!
Did anyone notice the swinging shutter spans (or connects) two separate battlement pieces? Does that mean it also functions to help hold the battlements together? Perhaps it drops into slots from the top... Functional as well as functional. Nice! edit: I mean functional structurally as well as funct...

Re: Photographers -- Tips and tricks?
I would recommend you take the perspective of a person on the street, or in a building observing the scene. The only up high shots are those from the perspective of a tower window/balcony or to shoot a photo of the layout. So, as mentioned, lower your perspective... maybe shots "over the should...

Thanks!AnimeSensei wrote:
I posted a full Empire pledge on Ebay; feel free to use my pics if you want. Also, if you add up all of the KS3 auctions there, you have a list of everything included. (Remember, some of them have ended, some have not, so you'll have to add them together.)

Here is a snapshot from a spreadsheet I threw together regarding packings and pledge levels: Pieces Per Pledge and Pack.JPG Packings per pledge.JPG Note that I did not mess with Packings F and G and their pieces. Packing F is the tudor stretch goal pack (which includes a stone arrowslit wall). Pack...

Re: Pics of cobblestone roads with gravel???
I've been looking for pics of cobblestone roads with gravel, but I just can't seem to find any. I assume the gravel is for drainage, but I just can't seem to find any real-world pics. Does anyone know which cities or historical areas might have been the inspiration for the DF pieces? Part of the re...
