Re: Wall Spacers Price Jump

This is a good point. I am interested in long wood spacers, especially to use for Tudor walls. However, I’m not sure those are worth the price of this set to me. I wonder if I might just cut up an excess KS3 floor to make four only-finished-on-one-side spacers, and reallocate those wall spacer doll...

Re: I always like to complain...

The SGs were so much better this time around. I would have to think about how to improve them, as I'm not in KS mode right now.

Re: Is there anything you're passing up that you didn't expect?

Ditto. I was very torn on the LED walls. In KS3, I found that I NEVER use them. I much prefer illuminating my cities with the freestanding KS3 lamp post pieces. BUT -- the thing is, I kinda do like the idea of doing SOME MBS style interiors now, just to see what it looks like. And I love the KS5 LE...

Re: Completionist vs. 4 District Pledge

Sorry to be repetitive but I thought the completionist pledge got everything - it appears Terrain Trays are excluded. Is this correct? Yes; similar to the Hearts before, we wanted to have it include everything sculpted as we've gotten complaints about including non-sculpted things in large pledges ...

Re: Roof decisions

If it helps with the FOMO - remember that all of the roofs pieces from Lowtown should be part of the Hightown campaign too, along with further expansion of the Modular Roofs system. Granted, that’s probably going to deliver 1 year+ after Lowtown ships, but there WILL be another chance to secure gua...

Re: Roof decisions

There is no risk IMO to over ordering really, even if you get "too stupid" in the PM :) Well, my first crack at my list in the spreadsheets had the total at over 5K (almost 80% unpainted) and over about 1600 items along with over 600 biscuits and half-pole accessory pegs (before adding an...

Re: Roof decisions

One thing to really keep in mind is that DF does plan to keep a lot more of the core packs in stock in their shop a lot better than they do now, and thus if you find you really want/need more corner hip roof tops, then you would likely be able to order them. Unlike past decisions where if you misse...

Re: Cobblestone battleboards worth it?

I expected to like the cobblestones more. It's not the design I'd have picked (I prefer the KS3 street cobblestones), but it's fine. My issue is just that I miss the curbs and broken stone and moss and all the other plentiful detail that KS3 streets and alleys included. The cobblestones are just a ...

Re: Cobblestone battleboards worth it?

I prefer the style of round Ballast stones you so in Colonial American port's waterfronts for Cobblestone so I will probably pass (maybe). For non-inline buildings, I use the, Mosaic Plaza 4x4 tiles, red brick sidewalk tiles, sewer tiles (a nice green that contrasts with the red brick), and dungeon...
