Frozen Falls

<r><br/> I'm not familliar with HS rules at all....care to comment on how including HS combat rules speeds combat?<br/> <br/> Well...the HS combat is basically structured around the concept of using a special set of dice with skulls and shields. The amount of dice you get to roll when attacking or d...

Frozen Falls

<t>I had a blast creating this one. The group loved questing in here too! The only way down way to scale the frozen falls which was dicey at best and almost deadly for some of them. The backdrop was one of those "moving" waterfall backlit pictures which added nicely to the effect. Enjoy.<br/> -Aubre...

May 2007 Contest -- The Den of Evil!

<t>Wow...Thanks Stephan, Jeff, and the DF staff! I had fun doing the setup and I enjoyed checking out all of the cool ideas that came from all of the entries. I really try hard to approach each setup artistically while maintaining gaming functionality and I wasn't really sure how well that would wor...

Shots from my DOE Cavernerous water setup

<t>Awesome setup! Very creative and inspiring. I like your use of accessories too...really gives the setup a distinctive look. I bet this setup would be a blast to play in. As to the photos themselves...I think you may want to try lowering the iso speed if your going to shoot outdoors. That way you ...

May 2007 Contest -- The Den of Evil!

<r>The hatred between the Foul Stone Orcs and the undead inhabitants of the Lost Temple has raged for ages. Now the time has come to determine once and for all who has the right to the temple and it's unique power. Perhaps in this struggle a brave band of adventurers could take advantage of this dis...

Dramatic lighting...me like!

<t><br/> Nice! I'm a big fan of lighting effects, though I haven't done anything this elaborate in awhile.<br/> <br/> It's particularly cool for these sorts of layouts, since the assumption that these dungeons and caverns will have NATURAL lighting is particularly off. Even firelight is unlikely, si...

Slaughtergarde Laboratory - DF Style

<t><br/> Awesome close ups! And those hobgoblin zombies look amazing! You repainted those, right? I have some of those hobgoblin zombie minis and their paintjobs out of the box look so bad I've never wanted to use them, but yours look great.<br/> <br/> Don't think I repainted those actually...I must...
