Though the KS hasn't started, I know I'll be in for at least a tote and shield. This KS WILL be the lowest amount I pledge for. I have too many other projects that have taken up my funds so I've got to hold back.
For once, Dice4hire will out spend me during the kickstarter and PM!

Re: What‘s your first impression of the new battleboards?
For me, there's still a lot of unknown factors. I like the height of them, but I also use foam bricks that were very cheap. Still, the design might make them worthwhile. I'm also on the tail end of my big buying days of dwarvenite. I'm not sure I need to complicate my life with a new way of building...

Re: Terrain Tray Feedback Thread
Terrain Trays. I don't use them a lot. From DoD, I picked up the acid bath from the encounter. I ordered more from Caverns Deep as something I thought would be useful. The multi hazard pack is great as it allows me to fill a lot of situations. The forest trays were the cheaper options so I picked up...

Re: Kudos to DF warehouse shipping
A couple of those orders were mostly for paints, and for example, I tossed in an unpainted sewer floor pack that I could paint as packed earth for use with DH to blend with Cities tiles and buildings. Great turn around time! But it's the above point that's caught my attention. Would the sewer floor...

Re: Crystal Battery Life
I've never been a fan of the LED pieces. Yeah, they add a lot to the game, but since most of my games are with the same people, the LEDs are rarely used. I do like using them for the large convention game that I get to run once a year. Not sure if I'll be able to show off Caverns Deep this year thou...

Re: Working with Stilts
Yeah, the slope effect was what I was trying to recreate. For the most part, it works. It at least means I have another way to make my builds stand out.Seraphis the Bland wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:30 pm It really sends a 'slope' effect. Reminds me of all those tilting floor traps from 1e. Creative.

Working with Stilts
The other day, I had an idea for a build using stilts for elevations. What would a build look like if only one side of the floor was lifted up? Would it be usable to play with? Would it look relatively natural? Of course, I had already put the main stash of my caverns deep away and only had the smal...

Re: Transition Pieces, KS 2 Water Tiles and KS 6 Ruins
What I find interesting about the photos, is how the KS2 water tiles look with the water terrain tray in the center. It really gives the image of deep water there.
I'll have to make build like that and see how I feel about it in person. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Kickstarter - Miniature Counters - Some of the best $ I've spent
I saw this kickstarter but decided not to get in. I usually keep track of minis by the weapons that they carry or by a small ring I put on them. I am glad you included pictures of the counters in use though. The picture on the kicstarter page really doesn't show how the counters work.

Re: Discord - Who are you? and why?
1)Yes, I'm on Discord as MBCE47. Also Twitch as the same. I had a discord account already for connection to some other games I play though I really do any real interaction on the system. 3)I want to support DF as much as possible and really, I find it slightly easier for me to post to either Twitch ...
