Re: Tree Trunk (middle section) add-on pack

Yes to all of these ideas.

These are the kind of things that would make good stretch goals. And offer an add-on pack of them as well.

Re: KS7 barge vs. KS6 boat

I have a ton of boats, I love boats for some reason. ;) Just so you can start your players in a rowboat, and after facing a monster they say, "We're going to need a bigger boat." Then you put a bigger boat on the table. ......And you repeat this process a couple times, because you have a ...

Re: Tree-topper pack composition

BTW: I don‘t really need a trunk pack. I dislike already the three level height KS 6 trees. They are often to huge and dominate the complete build. E.g. You need at least 6 Tower levels to get the feeling that a tower is high if a three level tree stand close to it. Same for escarpments/cliffs... A...

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

"Something something Kickstarter rules something something." In the Frosthaven Kickstarter, there was a pledge level that included Gloomhaven. My understanding is that as long as the focus of the Kickstarter is new product, they do not have a problem with you including previous related it...

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

My interest in this KS would increase dramatically ... 1. ... if there was an option in the Pledge Manager to add the previously released Erinthor Mountains and Dreadhollow Forest addon sets to my pledge. The "July Restock" was such an unpleasant and frustrating experience to me that I ha...

Re: Set by Set review of Pledge Levels for Wildlands

Clearly the premium for painted has jumped, but so too has the complexity of the paint jobs. It will be interesting to see what other things get revealed as we go forward in the KS. But they are now doing a simpler version of the Dreadhollow paint job for the existing forest reprints (without lower...

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

I've said before that I think big complicated showpiece terrain should just be in resin. Not for me, I want my big stuff to be even more durable. For me they just need to make sure the big stuff is more useful than a once and a while hitting the table. Maybe I should say resin or 3D printed. I'd be...

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

My initial impression of Wildlands was, "OOOO new pretty trees, and impressive mountains with waterfalls." Then, "Wow, every pledge up to and including $600 painted just doesn't inspire me and make me interested, just too sparse. They have nice pieces to work with my existing forests ...

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

But it would frankly not surprise me if this Kickstarter sells more 3D printers than it does DF sets. At some point value has to be part of the equation. And that will show that DF's decision to go for big artist quality and incredible durable terrain was a mistake. We shall see. I've said before t...
