Re: Tiny Furniture thread

Perhaps unkept, bearded, scraggly hair sitting flat legged (as if leaning up against a wall while on the floor, or at the head of a cot). Could then be used as another character type (drunk, beggar, etc.) And the figure with raised arms in chains might be better if lowered to lap, could be used in m...

Re: I just want some cool terrain pieces?

something like Injection molding becomes a LOT more cost-effective since the NRE (Non-recurring Expenses - like making the steel molds) can be spread out over all those parts. (If a mold costs $10,000 to make and you only make 200 parts with it, just the cost of the mold itself means those parts ha...

Re: Focused Feedback: Teardrop Inserts

DF could also have done opposing magnetized parts that “clamped” pieces together (above and below the holes).

Can it be drilled and pinned?

Re: Focused Feedback: Teardrop Inserts

I was not a fan at all when I saw these in the dev stage, and the results are as I feared they’d be.

I’ll definitely be sealing my holes up. I haven’t received mine yet, so TBD on methodology.

I’ll be open to doing mods for folks, once I have solution in place.

Re: Surprisingly hard to get pieces - Wildlands

Folks have been complaining about the very limited access to chase pieces for years now. (DF has lost a bunch of coin from me as a result.)

Seems to fall on deaf ears each new KS.

Re: Sally 4th Blackstone Heath: The Villagers Part 2

I am in the process of moving. That means packing upwards of 10,000 metal minis up. Lordy, those boxes are heavy. That said, I just love the heft, detail, and feel of my little men. I have several thousand plastic minis too (mostly GW LOTR), but they just don't have that same zing. As to durability...

Re: Holes to big?

I think the whole insert scheme for the forest tiles was perhaps an idea too bold. I had a feeling it would be. That’s one reason I passed on the forest floor tiles entirely. (Cost, painted, was the main reason though.) Yep, just cause you can do something doesn’t mean you always should… I’ll be ge...

Re: Swampiness

Suggest a trip to your local fabric store. You’d be surprised how much there can be adopted for table top use. I probably have two dozen 4’x6’or larger cloth/fabric/vinyl/etc. pieces that I use for all kinds of fauna, climates, surfaces, etc. Also, be sure you look at the reverse sides… sometimes th...
