It's a vicious circle. The Star Wars minis got me geeked up for the sci-fi sets, and now that I have the sci-fi sets, I'm even more geeked up for sci-fi minis.

That sci-fi starter comes with 19 pieces, including the doors and angled floor pieces.

I was thinking about just putting a sci-fi corrridor piece againt a cavern passage with a door between them. But with the smaller sets, maybe we'll start seeing more special purpose sets like that.

Another game to play with the sci-fi set!
They're the guys behind the D20 Slayer's Guides, as well as the Conan and Babylon 5 D20 books, and the upcoming Paranoia XP (god, I sound like a commercial, don't I?)
Anyway, they seem to be a pretty good company. If I can get some pics of the minis at GenCon, I'll post them.

Another game to play with the sci-fi set!
I just read that Mongoose is putting out a Starship Troopers miniatures game. It should work pretty nicely with Sci-Fi MasterMaze.
Now, if only it was pre-painted, I might actually have time to play it.
