Hellloooo out there!

<r>Retro-futurism rules!<br/> <br/> "By 1985, we will drive flying cars and eat protein pills served to us by robots at the end of our two hour workday!"<br/> <br/> That being said, I hope DF decides to release some sleeker pieces which are more Star Wars or Star Trek in feel. The current sci-fi set...

How many sets?

It's a vicious circle. The Star Wars minis got me geeked up for the sci-fi sets, and now that I have the sci-fi sets, I'm even more geeked up for sci-fi minis.

Curse you, Dwarven Forge!!!

Another game to play with the sci-fi set!

They got the license.

The Sci-Fi set kind of makes me wish for a decent Babylon 5 minis line.

$50 is a good price point.

At $50, I'm more likely to buy a set on impulse.

Hellloooo out there!

I was thinking about just putting a sci-fi corrridor piece againt a cavern passage with a door between them. But with the smaller sets, maybe we'll start seeing more special purpose sets like that.

Another game to play with the sci-fi set!

They're the guys behind the D20 Slayer's Guides, as well as the Conan and Babylon 5 D20 books, and the upcoming Paranoia XP (god, I sound like a commercial, don't I?)

Anyway, they seem to be a pretty good company. If I can get some pics of the minis at GenCon, I'll post them.

Another game to play with the sci-fi set!

I just read that Mongoose is putting out a Starship Troopers miniatures game. It should work pretty nicely with Sci-Fi MasterMaze.

Now, if only it was pre-painted, I might actually have time to play it. ;)

<t><br/> My guess would be $50 again. Seems like nothing is really going to be less than that, and if you compare to the passage set, it seems that this expansion includes about as much.<br/> <br/> In general, I like the fact that DF is making smaller sets for less, so you can buy two for the old pr...
