Re: New KS3 photos

I'm also concerned about the skeleton on the side of the "bridge of valor." The original design seemed to fit better with the city theme. Was the design switched after the kickstarter?

Re: Open Water - PLEASE!

While I'd love a set of open water tiles, I could only really justify it if it were an extra KS3 addon or part of KS4. The $140 minimum for overseas shipping from the webstore would put it out of reach for me, unfortunately.

Re: Con pics

Are the stone ruins pieces done in a different color of dwarvenite? They look light gray, which seems like it would be stand out against the other stone pieces. It may just be the light, or they could just be prototypes I guess. I can answer that. I saw it on both my and LordDust's photos where the...

Re: city builder system unboxing video

That looks awesome! It's a relief to see just how smoothly everything fits together in Dwarvenite as well.

Re: Cragmaw Hideout (5E LMoP spoilers)

You're right of course, William :D
They're a kind of hardened styrofoam. They don't break apart or indent easily, unless you use a knife or something. They're often used to stack shelves on, etc.

Re: Cragmaw Hideout (5E LMoP spoilers)

I got the bricks from a Daiso 100 yen store in Japan. I'm not sure if the Daiso in the States would stock them, though. They are 100 mm wide, 200 mm long, and 50 mm thick, which is almost exactly the dimensions of 2 x 6 DF tiles. They also have 50 mm x 50 mm cubes, which I use as spacers when the la...

Cragmaw Hideout (5E LMoP spoilers)

Here is my adaptation of the Cragmaw Hideout from the 5E Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure. I scaled everything up a little, as it didn't seem like there would be enough room to maneuver otherwise. I bought a bunch of 10cm x 20cm x 5cm polystyrene bricks to do the split elevations, and I think they...

Re: Cave of the Crocodile King

Thanks, Magniop. It turns out some kind of island is essential when you make a large lake, as there aren't enough open water tiles to make it big enough otherwise. I hope that someday DF releases an open water pack so we can make some truly epic water features.
