So if it is magnets and five sections - can you break it 'Indiana jones style' have it dangling into the chasm?

That would be way WAY COOL

Imagine the faces of the party when that happens - priceless!
Or have one of the two rails "break". Magnets would have to be pretty strong, especially if you figure out how to leave player minis dangling in fear of their lives!
This would be a very interesting thing indeed    Not sure how much I can say about it though...might be beans.

Liked the bridge but did not see us using it, until we thought it would go really well with the Erinthor mountains :)

Those ruins are so varied I can't really pick out all the sculpts! Great job; I look forward to snagging those.

I thought the bridge was a single piece. The five pieces do look good together indeed!!

Do we know what supports the bridge? Is it just a few strings/ropes underneath? Will the real bridge have rope around each log? I'd like to know how it will work.
Right now it is a Magnet and metal system similar to what we did with previous bridges except without the peg. We are hoping to use rope for the railings but we are still testing what will work. There is an end section and middle sections. They are all repeated. The goal was to make it so that the bridge length could vary. Elye did some really excellent work on this things, the pictures don't even do it justice.

Believe it or not, only magnets. I did not think the prototype would work and was looking for a toothpick to provide hidden support in the middle and it worked without it.
Oooh, that means the bridge can be as short or as long (within physics) as you need it. I like that. Now that you mention it, it appears to be 3 sections, right? Not each individual log having its own magnets?
I think it was five sections, three in the middle and the two end pieces. Had little magnets that lined up. Unless they come up with some end section anchoring mechanism, not sure too many more sections could be added. I would assume the weight would be too much for the end sections to stay on top of the edge. But would not be surprised if there was more. Pretty happy with the version I saw. Plus you could always have a pillar in the middle to help support the weight if you wanted to.
