I also had a chance to grab a few beers with Stefan (and Lulu; AKA "The Dwarvenette" ;-) ) afterward with a friend of mine at a nearby Irish pub. Stefan is a very great and genuine guy. This just cannot be faked...
Stefan's enthusiasm, sense of fun, and general glee for life are all awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing him again at Gen Con and I'm excited that a few more forumites are going to be meeting him!

There was an official announcement today about online distribution! The Dwarvenaut will be available on several video streaming platforms next month:

I saw it in SF!

Quite good and totally enjoyable. It was too bad the whole crew didn't come out to make it a party, but maybe next time. The left coast needs a little DF love!

I just found out that The Dwarvenaut will be presented at my favorite local (Montreal, Canada) independent film festival: Fantasia.

I noticed that the DVD is up for preorder on Amazon:

There's no mention of Blu-ray at this time, though.

Deadly serious here: please do get some designs out for DF merchandise! I would love to get a DF shirt or hoodie. There are a couple print on demand services that do dice bags even. If it is done through print on demand there will be miniscule overhead for DF and some profit while the rabid fan base gets what they want!

SPIROPOLOUS, MINNEAPOLIS SCREENING?

Post by GODofwar » Mon May 16, 2016 3:39 pm

I don't suppose there is any plan for a Minneapolis screeining?

Stefan, you'd be welcome to stay at our place. We have a decent guest suite, sort of, and close to the airport!

Are any of the staff planning to attend?

Any other forumites?

I figure we can all wear our Dwarven Forge T-Shirts so we can recognize each other. Oh, wait.... we don't have Dwarven Forge T-Shirts. I want my T-Shirt!!!! (Seriously, when the KS dust settles, get some artwork over to Zazzle or any of the other print on demand places... then we rabid fans can have t=shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, 3 ring binders.... whatever - DF gets a little bit for the design each time one is ordered with no inventory, fullfilment or return issues)

I have two weeks - Perhaps i could make wizards robes out of all my tote bags ;)

Had me laughing at first, but truly this ain't a bad idea, for the reasons described above. Heck, I'd wear one on game night.
Take a spare KS bag, cut head and armholes.
