So today is a special day -- it's Lady Sabelle's birthday!

We wanted to take a moment and celebrate the wonderfully talented, endlessly hard-working, and magnificently fun person that she is.

What a pleasure to have her on the team. It's an honor to work by her side.

Feel free to comment on some of your favorite pieces she's sculpted (for DF or for other projects). We've picture a few of our office favorites below.

While I love both of the recent pictures, they accentuate why I'm excited for the next kickstarter. Shorelines and cavern wall lines are too straight.

Compare the resin caverns in the middle of this picture to the dwarvenite caverns I've highlighted in yellow. One looks like a cavern, and the other looks like a dungeon carved to resemble a cavern. I'm excited for more variability in the wall shapes.

The water has the same problem. This is also an issue with the resin lake sets. Look at the top right; it's too angular for a cavern pool. It looks like a man-made reservoir. Nothing against Sam (who built this); it's the materials I just wish we had more options available, which we will soon. I'm excited to get some more sculpts.

that build looks straight out of a 1st edition module - fantastic - lets just fill the page (or table) with an entire dungeon!
Amusingly, it's from the 5th edition starter set. :)

In the late 90s-early 2000s I went to a LOT of NERO LARP events at various campgrounds. Chasing monsters (or being chased) through the woods at 2 AM is ridiculously fun, and the long-running games build up serious character history.
I don't LARP now, but most of my weekly D&D group are guys I met at NERO.

Currently, a friend of mine runs the Gen Con (and Origins) Dungeon Crawl events every year. It's a good time.

I'm on the right.

So I wonder what the next floor looks like, where all those stairs head up to? Looking forward to expanding my options once DoD arrives.
