Having some slimy culvert (aka difficult terrain) for folks right next to a sidewalk can make for some interesting movement decisions and places for certain slime monsters (and oozes) to lurk. They can also give a minor challenge to jump over if trying to avoid acquiring certain traceable aromas around town when dashing from location to location. A bad roll and suddenly, your character is now Mr Stinky!

Or all the drainage culverts used to be nice and clean, but the final drains have been plugged and the algae and slime has taken over in the hot sun of summer. The lords of the city have hired some specialists to locate the source of the clog and clear it out.

The combination of streets and sewers will make a cool adventure.

I am working out some interior dressing for my town. I should think about some sewer encounters.

Nice work zenako, not seen combined streets and sewers on the same level before, interesting if a little stinky!

Yup, I was pleased with how the sewers could just be slimy culverts along the sides of a road or street if needed. The look is pretty good for a feature like that. I tried a few bridges but the one I used worked the best with the sewer tiles and the general color motif. For whatever reason the stone work on the bridge has a tint that fits in well with the green palette of the sewer tiles.

Oh well, that entire street build is packed up for some different builds this weekend with the gaming group. The Watchtower filled with Orcs, etc. in the center in the center of the table is part of what awaits the PC's.

Love that bridge from DoD. Have no city stuff but the sewers seem versatile. Nice set up!

That's a fancy bridge for a sewer.
But also... real cool. 8-)
Actually was thinking about using the sewers in an above ground scenario, (thus no walls for them) and how folks would cross the muck without dipping their feet in that slime. Tried using some ramps and the arches but the span on the arches did not clear the raised edges of the sewer tiles cleanly. Then pulled out the bridge. I view this as a potential undercity location perhaps.

Playing around with Streets and Sewers

Recently received Imperial Streets and a bunch of Sewers and was playing around a bit. Found that one of the bridges nicely spans some slimy sewer paths.
