I love it all! It's been said a hundred times, but you have a great sense of color and spacing. Everything is just in the right place!

Always love your layouts, dig that werewolf. 8-)

Question -
Where is the torch/brazzier (that is inside the stacked 4x4 intersection rooms) from? The one with two horizontal metal bands as the flame cage.

Thanks Faymous, too cool. :D

Amazing setups and beautiful minis.
First time we have seen a Sigmarite Dais in action with your top notch paint job it fits beautifully with RoTA - nice work :)

Your set-ups are gorgeous as usual. I had a couple of questions:
1) where is that waterfall piece from in the corner of the cavern? I have seen it before in your builds, I really like it.

3) I also like how you set up the sewers, is that acetate underneath?

3) you pose a wonderful crafting challenge: The lightning rail! I almost think it should be one of the monthly challenges, especially since my group is about to start an eberron campaign. I am already thinking about how to craft the engine.
has some pictures of the cars where I think they are using open-lock 3d printed pieces.
Yet one more project on my ever too crowed table. Thanks for the inspiration, have to start saving toilet rolls again. ;)

Having discovered evidence of an impending attack, the party plans to confront the River Elves at their base of operations; a seedy dive bar known by locals as The Nest. Knowing they will be outnumbered and not wanting any River Elves to escape with the explosives, the heroes call in backup. While city guards, led by an allied House Medani Inquisitive, raid the tavern, the party enters covertly through the sewers. Averting or defeating well laid traps and a dozen wererats, the party makes their way into the River Elf hideout. With the help of allies, they confront the gang leader in a strange chamber beneath the sewer level hideout. It appears the gang leader was trying unsuccessfully to activate some sort of arcane gateway...but to what end?

Our recent games found the party bound for Fairhaven aboard the Orien Express Lightening Rail. There was, of course, the inevitable murder aboard Orien Express (I couldn’t help myself). Alas, we had only 2D maps for that encounter, so I didn’t bother with pictures. I will eventually find a 3D solution for the Lightening Rail (it being one of the most iconic elements of my favorite D&D setting) but for now 2D provides the more accurate representation. Curious if anyone has seen a train setup or has suggestions for how one might be built? I was thinking maybe DF sci-fi set, but with fantasy/historic accessories to give it a steam/magic-punk feel. Anyway…..

Upon arriving in Fairhaven, the party meets up with old friends and investigates clues uncovered during the Winternight attack on Mossmantle. Leads point towards a connection between the Mossmantle attack and gang of half-elf smugglers known as the River Elves.

The investigation takes the party first to an alchemist’s shop, where a search uncovers a sizable stash of illicit drugs and something far more concerning; plans for an explosive device carrying a biological agent. Clues next lead to an abandoned Cathedral of the Silver flame, where the River Elves have set up makeshift manufacturing operations. The half-elves reveal themselves to be wererats and combat ensues. In the aftermath of battle, the party finds traces of combustible materials and metal cannisters; presumably the components for the previously discovered explosives. The party recognizes the cannisters as pyrotechnic casings and makes the connection to the upcoming fireworks display in celebration of Queen Aurala’s name-day.

The party follows a trap door in the cathedral floor into the sewers and pursues a trail to a subterranean alchemy lab, its occupant busy at work. The party successfully sneaks close to the lone alchemist, but when their presence is detected, he reveals himself to be a far more menacing lycanthrope than those the party fought earlier. It appears the alchemist had discovered a way to harness lycanthropy in mutagen form. Unfortunately, the heroes find nothing matching the explosive plans.

Just out of curiosity, how do you handle movement during outdoor battles? Estimate it? Actually measure? Or am I just too blind to see the grids? Not a big deal of course, just curious.
At the moment we use a ruler, although we don't get to precise with it. I've tried mats with a grid in the past and DF terrain tray grid overlays. In the end, I just like the look of non-grid better and leave it to my players' to be honest with the distances.

Stunning as always - i LOVE the idea of a temple with a hidden garden (or hunter's grove) and the fact that it is always spring - gorgeous integration of water tiles and woodlands

The builds are fabulous, but i find myself drawn to the minis - any of those is worthy of it's own thread with half a dozen pictures from different angles - but here are these vast setups littered with beautiful minis... it is just tooo much ;)
Concur almost 100%, except you can't get too much of such beauty!
