I never thought of just placing those skull piles on top of the columns, so simple and sweet.
...and lazy ;)

I do have a two questions.
Did you dye a few of the flames green and orange?
I see the table in a few shots, did you clean the others post or was it a lighting trick?

Yeah, I painted up some of the flames. I had a lot of extra ones and thought it might be cool - but they still look yellow when I turn the LEDs on (even on the green ones). well, it was worth a shot.

As for cleaning the table... Sometimes I leave a bit of the Board in the pictures. It saves a lot of time to clean up the backgrounds along a straight edge instead of all the nooks and crannies.
For example-

Dealing with all those shadows at the bottom would have taken awhile, and sometimes the edge of the board actually adds context. So I trade off: scrub the nooks and crannies on the top (for a nice skyline), then swipe along the Board edge for the bottom. I think it works well. (Man those pictures are dark. The good camera went to the Nile for a few weeks - I had to use the old camera for these..)

Anyway, behold the ROTAmax!!

This is (3) Rota I and (2) Rota II on a 2'x3' Board. I had a few pieces left over from this build, but this is pretty much the maximum I can Rota (if 'rota' was a verb).

I had visions of grandeur: I was shooting for (5) Rota I sets, and (3) Rota IIs. That would have filled a 3'x3' board. Now tho, I'm wondering what to use to fill up the missing square feet - maybe some Wicked Addition sets?

There's some really nice Elevation bits in this one.

..the old camera is killing me... and I think I'm Resin-ed out.

I have to give you many kudos on the use of your elevation system, it's fantastic.

Nice skull towers too.

That is a seriously cool picture - Cracking!

Weird backgrounds are coooool
We need to learn that one, or at least dedicate some time to shopping our pictures to remove all the background distractions.

Very nice. :!:
I had trouble seeing the need for more than one skull fountain too. I was lucky to get some of the square corner sets and floors.

Amazing - simply incredible

I really like the fountain that is turned 45 degrees - amazing how a simple change can make something feel SOOOO different

Serious amounts of awesome in that pic. If there was a coffee table book of DF forumite builds, that shot would make the cut.

I always had trouble envisioning using more than one Catacombs 2 set...
Honestly, 4 sets is a skull fountain too far. In fact, 4/4 isn't a great ratio of Cat sets I/II - a ratio of 5/3 would be much more flexible. Also, I would love to see the Cat Floor Packs come back in stock (then I could use the freestanding walls I had left over).

Getting the structure elevated and having a solid black for everything not the dungeon allows it to be showcased without any distractions.
The Dining Room table turned a bright, blazing orange/red in the photos, it was beyond distracting. I was pretty frustrated at first, the pics weren't working at all. At 2:00 am, I decided to scrub the Dining room from the pictures altogether. The resin looks pretty tasty now ;)
Also, I can add weird backgrounds -
