Attempt at multi level DoE Set up...

purely a coincedence, the figure is

from Crossgen comics, i used to rip a lot of Wizkids minis from like Mage Knight, and Heroclicks off their baese before they came out with the SW minis. Still do it for some as extra minis.

And he is a would be Sith Lord, he's Sith, and a dark sider but a "low level boss", he isn't a lord yet

I have done s few things to clean these up and will retake them so they look nicer...

GS-

Please take this NOT the wrong way, but that Sith Lord (I Think) in the last pic looks entirely TOO MUCH like a certain half-Vulcan...

Talk to us!

"Dude, this is totally AWESOME!"

"Roger, Roger. The Beat is Killer"

Yeah, my concept outstripped my means... ;)

I was short 1, gosh darn it, 1 L section for the one i had designed, so had to do some fudging, and the boxes while being 4 inches tall and almost what i wanted, were almost what i wanted.

I am going to polish it up for the remainder of the fight next tuesday.
Make a full bridge, maybe a some better card board that doesn't show up as much, (buy some basic black, or such and cut it more to size), get some thing to act as a backing or get a chance to go to the hardware store and buy some of the 2 inch thinck foam. I tried one store this weekend but Lowes didn't carry that kind of pink foam, guess i got to go to Home Depot.

The PC's sucedded in basically destroying all of the droids, all that is left is two droids on the catwalk over looking the main chamber, and the Sith baddie.

As per usually the PC's totally went into the base a way i had not expected, and then proceded to destroy the controls for the turbo lift, with the sith in it comming up from the bottom level to the upper one... SO glad i put that Catwalk in the inital design, becuase the Sith just got out of the lift, went over bellow the catwalk and Force Jumped up to it, and then came at them from one of the side pasages as they were mowing down droids...

He is all that remains as a threat, and after doing the vader manuever of Hucking, the droid parts at them, end EVEN tossing a few of them around (rather well done i thought, he tossed the soldier at one of the Jedi, the soldier ain't going to make no Will save ;) ) He has withdrawn a bit trying to lure them on to a fight on the cat walk... where fun things happen....

There is actually more to the complex, but i realised you can't see it in any of these, in picture 5, behind him is a an opening, under the complex above... it goes into another room that when they enter it, i will pull of the top to reveal what is inside...

You can see it in this one

Great pics, GS! I really love that high gantry/catwalk one -- nice item, and great photo!
Really cool to see these things combined like that.

I do have to admit, when I saw that third pic, all I can hear in my head is techno music -- those battle droids kinda look like they're at a rave.

"Dude, this is totally AWESOME!"

;)

Well these are not quit as wow as an IO set up, but starting to get there...

I wanted to have a three layer set up, with the Deep bottom layer DoE and then some higher levels the normal Sci Fi.

Here is a full view of the Set up in rough form... Since this was a test and wasn't really sure what i needed to do it, there are some sloppy bits, namely the card board support sticking out and the white boxes...
