These pictures were harder for me to find as I couldn't remember where I had saved my TileMapper pictures.

Hard to believe this was almost 10 years ago now!

Fu-Man Chu

Thanks for the advice. So far I've been buying a few hobgoblins and a manticore. I will probably build up the ruin of the first encounter using Hirst Arts - a good first use of my new ruined fieldstone mold. And the building will be afterwards a nice addition to my Mordheim assessories.

I haven't yet read the whole lot - just got up to part II - but I like what I have seen so far - and I will look at the WoC websites for errata.

That sounds cool! Would love to see what you come up with!

I remember a while back, someone posted pics of Vraath Keep that they made with DF...

Here it is! http://www.dwarvenforge.com/dwarvenforu ... hp?id=1725

Unfortunately, it looks like the linked pics are no longer there 8-(...

I JUST ran that dungeon a month ago. My dungeon is probably 70 percent the same as yours. I think it looks great, don't change a thing!

Thanks man!... though, if you have pictures of yours, I'd love to see how yours differs from what I came up with (I'm still a neophyte in really learning to use my DF!...)

Thod, BH1: I think you guys will find RHoD to be a great lot of fun - I've been running it pretty much exclusively for the past several months and it's such a well-done classical mod. I would say it's one of the best adventures put out by TSR/WoTC - capturing the feel of the game like Keep on the Borderlands did so many years ago 8-)...

I would suggest looking up some of the errata though that's floating around - mostly, the small (but important!) differences in the stat blocks... There were some mistakes that made a big difference in my game (such as when Saarvith critted an elf PC with his longbow and elfbane arrows on a 19... then realized that the statblock was an error and he should only be able to crit on a 20... or Warklegnaw missing his iterative attacks - yes, my PC's killed him... for cooking a pig...)

Also, be sure to get the Web Enhancements off the WoTC webpage - it helps a lot!

Blackhawk,

I myself like the hobgoblin that strives for lichdom! Throw in a couple of vampiric hobgoblins, an evil cleric hobgoblin, and maybe evan a Blackguard hobgoblin and you got yourself one cool party. Although some of my players do not want to be invited to that kind of party I make sure they all get teh invite and no RSVP required. In fact I usually bring the party to them.

I'm actually getting ready to run RH for my group in January/Feb and started pre-planning items also. I have enough DF and other terrain that I can do it all from what I figure. My big hope is that the Chasm set will arrive before the bridge battle so I can more properly do that!

WHat you posted is fantastic- thanks for that as it will save me a few hours of DF planning!

Now I have to get back and upgrade all the encounters as my party is level 12 on average! (i.e. nothing like hordes of fiendish hobgoblins!)

Fu-Man Chu

Thanks for sharing. I'm just about to start the adventure. We have just wrapped up our last big adventure (see the Decent into the evil temple - somewhere a little bit down here) which was a home brewed adventure. Wanting something 'quick' and with my not-so-local but still the closest I have - game store low on adventures for the right level I picked up the Red Hand of Doom approx. 2 weeks ago.

We are playing Faerun - and the group is currently situated in Waterdeep - several hundred miles from the place it is supposed to happen. Fortunately the Paladin just fell out with her order and will have to go into exil / leave Waterdeep. So next game they will start on a ship and I've planned the first encounter.

Your lay-out looks great to me. But I guess it will take my group a year to get there - if they ever manage. I plan to take photos along the route.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around - been having a great gaming since I got a regular group together...

For the past 9 months, I've been running them through Red Hand of Doom as a Living Greyhawk campaign. It's been a blast, and now they're about ready to head off to the BBEG's HQ, so it's my chance to show off some more DF once again!

Thanks the TileMapper crew, I've been able to preplan the map and I wanted to get some feedback about it before we play in a couple of week. Rater than try to recreate the map exactly, I went for a similar feel while making it doable with DF. Specifically, are there any suggestions for the hallway between room 3 and 4?
