You hadn't seen this? I for sure thought you had. Hmmm.

Thanks all.
I've got more to do, since I think these will not get to be dwarvenite. I will still hope. ;)

Beautiful work. Very inspiring. Been thinking about moving towards building (with my meager skill) this kind of stuff with kids to help teach them how to create. Maybe a tiny bit of patience and stick-to-itsness too!

So, I finally got around to painting a few for color testing and think I'll go with what is below. I do have a few water pieces too and they will have a darker tint with a slight green moss, where the water stains the pool and the columns where the water will be flowing over.
Colors - Soft Black base, Earth Stone heavy dry b., Terra Cotta med. dry b., another light Earthstone dry b. to kill some of the extra orangyness of the TC, then a final very light Stone Edge dry b.

Smaller pieces made - (5 painted, the rest with base coat)

I made some with the height of a wall or pillar for stacking floors -

Enjoy and copy all you want.

Great stuff William! You've created a really unique and interesting environment here, that could equally well be a neat cavern section, a cool aboveground formation, or even an island (or small archipelago). The pool is particularly nice, I love how you did the underwater algae on the rocks right up to the surface level just the way it often actually grows.
