Beautiful work. Very inspiring. Been thinking about moving towards building (with my meager skill) this kind of stuff with kids to help teach them how to create. Maybe a tiny bit of patience and stick-to-itsness too!

So, I finally got around to painting a few for color testing and think I'll go with what is below. I do have a few water pieces too and they will have a darker tint with a slight green moss, where the water stains the pool and the columns where the water will be flowing over.
Colors - Soft Black base, Earth Stone heavy dry b., Terra Cotta med. dry b., another light Earthstone dry b. to kill some of the extra orangyness of the TC, then a final very light Stone Edge dry b.
