This is a photo of Jolly's docks before I painted the water. I do not have any of his larger ships only because I have too many already

I really like the separate post. The docks make nice bridges. Dwarven Fore did not have the wood colors when I painted these.

I usually game at the store but I like the idea of the overhead projector and special lighting.

I really enjoyed the photos of the game :!:

For all who are asking, I believe the darker boat on the left came from Legendary Realms, the two in the center are from Renaissance Miniatures Pirates line, and the dock, the boat to the right with the sacks, and the boat near the sharks are from Jolly Blackburn/AmbersSecretCove.

One PC did attempt to jump a shark--or, he attempted to jump from one boat to the other above a shark and failed his DC 5 jump check. He ended up in the water with the sharks, then immediately activated his Anklets of Translocation to exit the water.

Looks like fun. Who makes the ships?
Those look the ones I picked up from this Etsy seller

Nice workmanship and real suitable for small ships and boats for scenarios.
That's Jolly Blackburn and his wife's store. He does the comic Knights of the Dinner Table.
Wow, did not know that...thanks

I do use a projector onto my game board. I want to try mood lighting with it as soon as I've got the painted DoD's. Having moving sharks and stuff in the water would be awesome. :)
Unless I specifically state that my information is directly from Valoria, my comments are just my own opinions.

This is amazing! Where'd you get the boats from?
Zie ginds komt de stoomboot
Uit Spanje weer aan.
Hij brengt ons Sint Nikolaas,
Ik zie hem al staan.
Hoe huppelt zijn paardje
Het dek op en neer!
Hoe waaiend de wimpels
Al heen en al weer!

I'm waiting for Small Soldiers to become real. Then you build your dungeons and just let your minis have at it

Cooooool Setup - looked like a lot of fun to play too.

but flying sharks ! really! Love them!

How long before we programmable led tiles where you could program for water and then have sharks roaming around digitally?

Could already be done with an overhead projector setup or even play on top of a flat screen TV/Monitor (seen that somewhere) - Think Lady S uses an overhead projector to project layouts onto the gaming board.
I am the Game and I want to Play

Awesome setup. I love the brown paint color of the caverns, looks great against the bright blue.
