@Oldent - If I can find it for a reasonable price! ;)
I might have one. I'll check tonight.

I love the Woodland sets, despite some of their sizing issues. :) They are just so pretty to look at... Wish we had an expansion to them with more organic shaped "walls" though. :( I really like the swell walls from KS6 and think they would do well here.
Yeah, a Woodlands Advanced Builder set would rock!

Looks real nice with the cottage, the set can mimic ivy-grown fences for courtyards, pens etc or solid walls of a woodland structure, or ruins overgrown ... I threw some stuff together as well.

A moss and ivy covered ruin (possibly at the edge of Dreadhollow woods ...) built near a stream that runs into a deep cavern.

Made with 2/3 of a woodlands set, parts of a resin cave and passages sets, lake, river and walls set and maybe a couple chasm or lake expansion parts mixed in there for good measure.

Woodlands Experiments

Post by GardenDM » Wed Oct 24, 2018 11:39 am

I busted open one of my newly received Woodlands sets last night and played around with it. Overall I'm very happy with the possibilities this brings and think it will integrate nicely with CBS, Castles, and even Dreadhollow forest (as an enclave or garden). I purchased two sets and am glad I did since I think that's the minimum to build a windy bramble pathway. Although, the freestanding walls from Dreadhollow should expand the flexibility there further.

As always, please post your Woodlands photos here since I've only done a couple of initial test builds.

I just threw these down semi-randomly and arrived at something nice in no time:

Then it struck me that this should look awesome with a city builder cottage, and off I went!

You stumble upon a wooden gate, leading into a courtyard:
