Ahh that explains why our experience with them was different :)

You could add magnets to the inside of the parapet and use CBS Magnetic stone walls to make the corner walls

I did use mine with CBS and not castles so maybe that is the problem. I definitely had problems after leaving towers on them for a week.

Thanks rabbit! I dont actually own any castle walls, so I am not sure how they connect. I've always used me parapets with CBS stone walls/floors. They look great, but I suspect are not as sturdy as how the castle pieces hold them in place, so maybe that's the issue.

I would be sure to take everything off the parapets between sessions, though.
This is starting to get off point and become just a gratuitous posting of pictures :)
As if this is ever really a problem on these forums...pictures are always good.

Whilst this is clearly good advice, we left our parapets up for around 6 weeks! or roughly two 3 week periods :)

We did move the entire build 'up' our table at one point by dragging the vinyl playmat to add more CBS and our GW Mausoleum. So we expect we took off the towers from the parapets during this relocation, but apart from that we left the towers on the parapets.

The previous above picture was taken in late November 2017 and the below taken in early January 2018.

So to get back on point ;;) parapet towers are pretty robust if left alone, but if you start picking up and putting back tower levels you have to be careful.

I would think adding magnets between the cut out corner wall and the suspended parapet wall adaptor and between the wall adaptor and the parapet would help immensely and just require a couple of shallow holes and well glued in magnets ;)

Sorry cant help here other that we have used parapets with 3 levels of 4" tower and crenellations without much trouble. Though we did avoid bumping the table too hard ;)

We suspect if you playing in the levels then balance can be more problematic.

EDIT - did not dud - hate how Firfox has no spellchecker!

Reinforcing suspended parapets

Post by szabbran » Tue May 28, 2019 1:22 pm

I like to use the suspended parapets with 1-2 levels of small towers on them to add some cool architectural flavor to some of the more intricate buildings in my city builds. However, especially once you go beyond 1 tower level high, the weight tends to pull making the parapet's connection in the corner of the CBS walls loose. Has anyone come up with good solutions for reinforcing this, letting you do higher/more stable tower builds off of parapets?
