Sorry for the confusion we created. This is was done by our webguy who was testing some new software. He had no idea that emails would go out to people by testing an ordering function on the developer site.

No worries!

I\'m trying here to give my best explanation. Please be aware that I\'m not speaking for DwarvenForge US - but I have some more background information as DwarvenForge Europe.

Splattered Ink is the hosting company for both DF US and DF Europe

Reminders are send out if you - at some stage in the past - asked for a reminder. I remember that I accidently send out multiple e-mails to US customers when I updated my stock after the first container. I learned since - you can avoid sending out reminders - but this isn\'t the default.

I\'m aware that Splattered Ink was working on some new design for DF.

So my best guess is - this is a misguided message from a developer instance. Possibly triggered by some testing while still having legacy data in the system. It looks too sophisticated to me for a scam (provided the background I have). But better save then sorry.

I will send a message to the developers just in case. Thanks for bringing this up.

i just received an email from about a wicked additions 2 restock, with a link to sit with an untrusted checkout.

---------------
Thank you for your patience.

Our Wicked Additions #2 Set is now in stock and can be purchased by following this link:
http://df.splatteredink.co/index.php?pa ... &Itemid=10

This is a one time notice, you will not receive this e-mail again.
---------------

this goes to a site with no forum, and after logging in there i have changed my password to maintain security. it has very old news, and only 1 difference in the products page.

can anyone at DF tell me what up with this? its very strange to get an email linking to a wierd site like this.
