I would still really like to see garden, field, and yard tiles for city builder. I brought it up at the lunch last year. Being able to do the ground or use them for raised gardens in both CBS and castles would have a ton of potential. Yes, mats are better for coverage, but these would be for integration into the cityscape.
I really hope that I can use some of DreadHollow also for City gardens and such. Will see in 1 1/2 hours... :O

It would be even better if they revealed a tree set in about 7 and a half hours :D

I hope they do a forest set. It'd be better if they made it like they made the free standing cavern spikes, especially for trees since there could be interesting 3D builds where you have the bottom floor with the roots and stump and the top floor with the tree having branches and stuff; all that you could swap in or out same with the shrubs and foliage.

Not to mention people who magnetize their miniature bases (I'm considering that for wargaming miniatures that I'm planning on painting). Although those magnets will be weaker, they don't need to be as strong if they are just for positioning on a floor.

Magnetic "field" tiles would be great. So much potential.

DF can give us the blank slate with a few options and the community will fill in the rest!

For fences and such, I might go more with a peg system so fences, trees, bushes, flowers, etc. could be slotted in. Kind of like Mr. Potato Head but on a tile.
Why not roll with metal plates in the floor panel and magnets on the accessories? This allows more varied placement and may make it easier for custom additions for modders. If at least some of the tiles match the current foot print it also allows for hanging gardens and other fantastical treatments. You can also have tombstones, trees, bushes, hedgerows, etc. to place on those tiles as well.
Well sure, if you want to have a BETTER idea than mine, do it your way! :P
