I think they work O.K. with one Catacombs #1 sets, but more sets will be better... ;)
I'll try to do some more before the City Builder gets here... Oh what fun. :D

I'm sorry to see these sell out -- hopefully they will restock as more new customers succumb to the Dwarven Forge addiction. :-)

I had a rather large order (or two) in mid-2015, right after KSIII, because I was concerned so many new customers from KSIII would want to order the classic resin sets. I was glad to pick up Catacombs 1 and 2, plus I got Woodlands, Ruins, and Return of the Ancients. I'm still missing *many* old sets and individual limited-edition pieces, but I have enough to create some fairly impressive layouts (impressive for me/my group, not impressive compared to the Dwarven Forge masters here in the forums).

I do hope to see some of these sets return, and hopefully some expansion in the resin lines for new themes. They may not sell as well as Dwarvenite, but I love the quality of every set I own and hope to continue buying them in the future.

Well I ended up ordering two #2's and one (restricted) #1 sets plus two 6" LED walls. The mix works well, but will need more 2x2 floors in the future. I'll try to post some layout pics with what I have. Seems odd, but they still work well even though 2x#1's + 1x#2's seems as the logical way to go. I'll try later tonight or Thursday night with the pictures.

Glad for those who got them while they were still available - this was cool to watch unfold.

I wish i had known (like this) that the end was near for Ruins, it was literally NEXT on my want list...

Oh well, it was my birthday last week. If we ignore the birthday order I already placed this month, I can totally count the RotA set I just ordered as being for my birthday!
sound reasoning to me....;)

They were out of my price range too, but I figured what the heck. If I snagged that ROTA entrance, I could resell to pay for a huge DFKSIV investment. :D

I really like both all the unique DF Resin sets - so much character. I especially like the 4-wall chamber that can be a room, a corner, a T, or a 4-way intersection. Very sweet.
