I like your idea's Law...for the moment we are unsure what we will sell in Resin...we will know after we see what sells how much and how fast...I actually prefer the Resin Line of course for it's beauty...but must confess the Dwarvenite is unmatched for running games If I have to travel...something I have done extensively this past year...my hunch is that the Resin Line will continue, as will the Dwarvenite...they both have their places...what we need is more folks playing with miniatures and playing D&D!

Understood and agreed.

Would look cool for the mad scientist/alchemist locations.

Or a monster creator's laboratory

No, I mean narrow, jagged sculpts that look like lightning, cast in a translucent blue or yellow plastic, with a base to stand on.

I think of them as complementary to the WA fire walls. But since a lightning wall doesn't make a lot of sense to me, I scaled it back to a column. Call it a bolt if that's clearer.

I was thinking just this morning that some of the clear "flight stands" that Biowizard is doing would make for interesting supports for floors; clear crystal or energy columns.

It is not a bad idea for sure. :-)

Joined pedestals, 1x2 and 1x4. And a 2x2 tile that is the height of a tile. Allow elevated walkways, daises, and room dividers, and are the proper height for all "lower stair" pieces.

Round pedestals.

Half columns, cut vertically, to go against walls.

Firmly supportive of a free-standing spiral stairs. I also like the idea of stone railings and arches, especially if they are a close match to the gothic windows from WA3.

And lightning columns made of clear blue or yellow plastic. Can be used as spell effects, trap markers, energy cages, or really funky architectural elements.

That's awesome! I love his stuff, actually -- I think it's regular forum-poster Tom who has posted some of it before. It looks great. I try to keep my third-party purchases to a minimum (because in this hobby, you have to set limits for yourself somewhere, and I know I'm always gonna want to pick up the latest DF offerings) but I've been sorely tempted by his royal setting....

Morgar has a good looking throne and dais in his Royal Set.

Wicked Additions 4

I know there's been a lot of talk lately about whether the resin line will continue and whether it will be restricted to "special edition" sets. I hope that doesn't just mean "brand new settings" like the Catacombs or Hellscape, while all future "basic dungeon" sets will be Dwarvenite only. I'm a huge fan of the traditional DF and I'd want to see it continue -- restocks on all the existing lines, and expansions where appropriate.

In any case, I do hope that the regular Master Maze dungeon line isn't phased out, and that means both keeping the basic stuff in stock (like the first three Wicked Additions sets!) and also making a Wicked Additions 4! For which I humbly propose the following elements....

1) A throne -- complete with raised platform. The chair itself is basically an accessory, but I'd want to see some architectural elements to set it apart -- a dais of some kind, etc.

2) Railings. There have been railings for MBS and the Woodland Set, and the Sci-Fi setting even got them. But good stone railings would be awesome. Something like this:

These could go along the edge of a raised platform where the throne would be -- a kind of "pulpit"-like appearance.

3) Archways! I have been asking for these FOREVER. The Catacombs set kinda has them. I have made a few from Hirst Arts molds, but they're very fragile. I would love to see proper archways for a DF dungeon. Look how cool they are!

4) A free-standing spiral staircase -- that's COMPLETE (i.e. a full circle) Something that could be stuck in the corner of a room somewhere. And not something flimsy and delicate, either -- a big chunky stone thing, something like this:

That's all I got for now. But think how cool a dungeon stocked with these would be!
