If you are interested, I reported my experience buying boats from Shifting Lands in both these posts:

viewtopic.php?f=22&t=6203&hilit=shifting+lands
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5500&p=49332&hilit ... nds#p49332

In short, Gerard is contacted by email. He was slow to answer me but his prices were reasonable and his products are really nice. The resin boats needs painting but it should be very easy with dry brushing with Pokorny paints.

I don't think those from Sorn/Tom are mass-produced.
Some of those look interesting, but it seems there are no prices? I'll have to email to ask. The rigging on Sorn's ships is not available finished like that from any mass produced source to my knowledge, so I would put the money on your theory there. I know where to get the parts to do that and could add it to most model and gaming ships, but it can be a fair bit of work if you want it to look good.

OMG I have those! I bought someone's collection and kept them; I had no idea where they were from! THANK YOU!

BTW, the docks I have are NOT the large 25mm docks currently listed by MBA. They are the old dock/pier/shanty sets in 15mm. They are just large enogh to comfortably hold a 25mm figure, ie, they are not commercial docks/piers in 25mm, they are someone's private dock. You can see them at:

MBA is having a sale with significant reductions. This link leads to one boat - posted at once in case anybody wants it. May be more.

BTW, I have a HUGE PILE of MBA small docks, both stone quays and wood docks. If anybody wants a few I can spare some (I use them for long paths through misty swamps). I have probably 100 of each.

Thanks for posting that. I had not seen the sale, but have now ordered a sloop.
Old Glory allows you 40% off ALL the time if you pay a $50 annual membership fee. Do the math. At 40% off, you have to buy about $125 to pay off the fee.

Here's the link: http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/prodd ... ?prod=OGAC

There does not appear to be any limit as to product type, so the Shipyard should get the discount too.

I've bought a set of docks from him and a couple of boats. I picked them up from him at GenCon last year from the Hackman term booth he was manning. They're great utilitarian boats, but not fancy like the ones being posted here.
