I think the Ainsty stuff is nice. I bought mine from Mike years ago before he sold the business. The castings were very crisp, great detail, and worked well with the Grendel items.

That's cool, how do you do the double height walls?

I like the greens and golds. I have a pile of the Grendel and Ainsty stuff too, I did mine in Blues and Reds. I like the tones for yours better.
How good is the Ainsty stuff? I have been looking at it, but their site leaves alot to be desired when it comes to decent pictures of the items. Also with little to no descriptions, I am often times uncertain how many there are in a certain selection.

Yes I do my own paints right now.
I've been operated from my eyes 2 years ago and I started to do everything I put on my shelves for a very long time.

Double walls higher are just 2 corridors one on the other.
Just got 4 more room sets for 100$so I can do an entire base or spaceship.
(11 room sets, 8 passage sets, 4,5 beta sets, 1 gamma set, 2 alpha sets + custom pieces I found on ebay 6 years ago)

Don't sell it : you have a treasure !
I have the hope DF will be back in SCI-FI even in dwarvenite to complete the old line or to create a new one.
It won't be for the fith KS I guess since we saw temple stuff but let's dig this universe and share our suggestion about it : it might help them to develop it.
I agree!!! Just starting to look at a sci-fi based scenario...

Doesn't seem to be a lot available at the moment. Starter and base corridor sets here... similar parts at Maki games. Most everything else is make or print your own (whether molds, folded paper or 3d printer).

Stone Skull has some nice sci-fi furnishings... still hopeful for delivery.

Need more stuff!

Perhaps the recent revival of Star Wars will increase popularity and demand?

It would be cool to make something like this (from the bowels of the DF forum): Image

Me too. I am torn between selling what I have (I have a ton of the compartment and passage-way sets, but lack of some of the accessories sets keeps me below critical mass) or selling it for some sort of laser cut stuff. I have seen so many cool DF SF set-ups back in the day, but they seem to have gone the way of passenger pigeon. Here's hoping!
