Oh well, maybe we and the other gamers we know can all buy enough stuff to get them to move back the deadline.
Some of their stuff looks really cool inside Master Maze terrain.
Maybe we all can buy a bit, put it into our Master Maze, take pics of the displays and then post them here.
Maybe that might get someone to buy the master molds from Tim, if he will not change his mind, and then produce the terrain so we can still put it in DF"s MM.
What say y'all?

Sounds like a Great Idea... One of these Days I'll Actually Post Something......

Oh and a Side note, i found out that Armorcast, is closeing down a number of thier lines, so if you liked any of there stuff you might want to get your orders in before they shut down those lines

I cannot believe Tim is going to do this to everyone!
I am going to have to contact him and find out what is going on.
The last time I spoke to him was two moves back so it has been a bit of a while.

I have not bought much ArmorCast to date; there was always something else to buy that had a higher priority.
I always thought I would do it eventually, but that kept staying in the future.
Now, I am not going to have the capital to really hit the order hard.
What really sucks is that with so little warning, I am only going to have $200 that I can re-assign from my gaming budget by the ArmorCast deadline which will only cover most of the plants and water I want to buy.
Just if ArmorCast would move it back a month; I could then go as much as $800.
That still would not touch the ~$1,300 I would like to spend on terrain for me, let alone the additional ~$3,000 I want to spend on structures and more to make a medieval Christmas village for my wife.
Only if I had more time; gee, I have never said that before about ArmorCast terrain before, have I?
HAhaHAhaHA!

Rabid Fox,

Well, Again I Wish you What Ever Sort of Luck might "Help" With These Likely Transitions... As Far as the Changing Face of the Military, that has Been in the Works For So Long, it is Almost a Suprise To See it Really Becoming a Reality... (I Got Out Right Before Gulf One, Right as Some Big Changes Were Coming Down the Pipeline, Got Recalled for that one But Did Not Stay In Long Enough to Really Notice the Changes Myself)... Anyway, Again Luck to you and 'Ragamuffin'......

Ghengis Ska,

That Trully Bites I Doubt I will be Making an Order Before the Deadline, But Hey Maybe it will Get Lot's of You Maniacs To Buy it Up and Posted Lovely Painted Terrain Pics enmass...?

Yukon,

Yeah... Main Line the Forge...Ouch!

Yeah, DF is still the drug of choice, but until we get new product, we all need to get our fix somewhere.

That well and truly sucks. I'm going to have to pick um some more armorcast buildings before they run out.

Too bad, really. They make nice stuff.

From the Armorcast Website

Press Release
May 20, 2005

Armorcast will undergo major restructuring over the next few months. We will discontinue all Terraform Battlefield Scenery pieces and a number of Armorcast Vehicles pieces so that we can concentrate on the BattleTech, WarZone and Steamer lines. With the exception of the models listed below, all Armorcast products will be permanently discontinued as of June 30, 2005.

Last Day to Order Discontinued Products: June 30, 2005. Discontinued products orders received after June 30 will not be accepted and will be returned. If you want any Armorcast Terraform Battlefield Scenery products, now would be time to order them.

Retail Sales
We will ship all retail orders placed by the June 30 deadline for the discontinued products. We do expect to get backed up a bit on shipping orders, but rest assured, your order will ship in the order it was received.
Credit cards and money orders will be the only types of payment accepted.
If payment is by credit card, cards will not be charged until the order ships.

Continuing Products: The pieces listed below will remain in production after the June 30 deadline and will be available to wholesale customers at the current discount.

We thank you all for 10 years of supporting Armorcast and hope you will continue to support Armorcast in the future,

Tim DuPertuis and David Garton

I just broke down and placed an order with Anisty, and found out something cool, for the Month of June they are having Free Shipping! (or at least that is what i think the e-mail said

Thanks for your order.

Not sure if you would be interested to the point of changing anything but I am about to release our Base Camp (finally!) and opening up with a June Post Free offer. The twelve packs (value GBP 40.00) will be offered for GBP 28.00 post free to the US

It is in combination with a new line they are doing called base camp, which from the look of it, is one of the reasons i finally bought some stuff. It has a decent bit of Scenery like Tables, the Reception Desk (Base Camp 25 - 2551 - Reception Desk) to me is going to work Straight up as the Detention center consule from the Death Star....

So if you haven't placed an order from them and are thinking about it, you might want to do so in June. While it will have to paint all of the stuff it think it will spruce up the scenry very nicely...

I've picked up the cyber bar pieces from Grendel.

I love these accessories, but I am disappointed in how some of the sculpting "merges" into the rest of the piece.

For people who haven't posted pics, what colors have you painted your tabletops?

I'm not a good paintbrush by any standard, and I'm trying to figure out what color scheme to go with. So far I've just painted the gas can and a couple o'bottles of firewater.
